Paphos

Combining the wonderfully laid-back quality of a true family-run hotel with the facilities and amenities you'd associate with a big name chain, the Veronica Hotel is quite the surprise. Situated in attractive gardens, and benefitting from an excellent location, close to shops and restaurants, it's a great choice for anyone holidaying in Paphos. And Paphos is a great choice of resort for anyone holidaying in Cyprus. It's got everything you want from this part of the world – the history, the culture, the sand, the sea and the altogether different pace of life, all wrapped up in one fascinating city.

A family run ethos, top notch facilities and enviable location:

Set in its own wonderful gardens, the Veronica Hotel combines charm and style to great effect. Inside, cool stone tiled floors throughout give it that distinctive Mediterranean feel. While its soft furnishings and comfortable chairs give it the feeling of a comfortable home away from home too.

The outdoor swimming pool is fringed with trees, giving it a Caribbean feel, and offering lots of cool shade to relax in, pre or post swim. We certainly recommend an afternoon dip, a snooze and a little something from the pool-side snack bar or some time in the games room.

Then if you fancy a siesta, you'll find your room wonderfully conducive to a pleasant afternoon nap as well as a peaceful night's sleep. The clean, white walls and tiled floors keep that fresh cool vibe going, and make each room a quiet haven away from the holiday hustle and bustle.

All twin-bedded, en suite rooms are air conditioned and feature a private balcony. And a little part of every day should certainly be spent on the balcony with a cool drink in hand. Rooms also feature phone, TV and hairdryer. A mini fridge is available on request.

As well as the poolside snack bar, the Veronica Hotel in Paphos features an expansive restaurant. The tall beams and crisp linen reinforce that lovely sophisticated air –while the cosy table settings make for all sorts of possibilities: romantic meals for two or big clusters of friends all enjoying dinner together.

The Veronica Hotel in Paphos is one of those special hotels. It's a place that will quickly feel like home. And it's a hotel you'll want to return to next time you're in Paphos. We're sure there will be a next time…

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

A cracking holiday at The Veronica 👍

My holiday was super. The hotel was great.😊 The breakfasts were excellent, either cereal, ,a hot breakfast or a continental option.😊 The food was excellent with themed evenings in the restaurant . I could not fault the meals. All the staff were very helpful as was the management , they all found the time to talk to you ,very nice when you are travelling alone. I had stayed there on previous occasions ,all in all an excellent 28 nights.👍

Nice Hotel ,Pity about the food .

This is a nice 3* hotel with a good location .The pool and bar areas are very nice .The staff are very nice and helpful with the exception of one woman in reception who could do with some training on how to greet customers .The hospitality sector has been very hard hit by the pandemic and I don’t want to be overly critical but the food preparation and presentation in the hotel needs a serious overhaul .One evening there was kleftico on the menu and frankly it looked like boiled up bones to feed a dog .The food is either stone cold or lukewarm and left lying around for too long .The food wastage must be huge .The manager needs to do an audit on food wastage .There are plenty of very reasonable cafes ,bars and restaurants just down the street .

Staying here is the right decision.

The hotel in Paphos where you feel like home. The room was comfortable, always tidy, providing you all the needs you have. The people working here take care of every single wish you have...

It made a great impression to me the respectful behavior of the manager of the hotel. He took care of every guest in his hotel personally . It’s definitely the place where you wanna stay if you go to Paphos.

Very poor and bad service

The hotel lacks the basics like kettle, water and tea. Dirty and smelly rooms with extremely cheap beds. The car park is full of holes. The reception is uncooperative and refused to refund even after we stayed for 30 minutes...

NEVER TRY TO STAY HERE!!!

Hotel Veronica Paphos

Stayed for 8 nights, hotel is tired and in need of decoration and modernization. They moved me to a room that did get wifi as the 1st one didn't, in both the wardrobes were falling apart and although clean the rooms are scruffy and in need of a serious refurb. I went in for breakfast at 7am and it was already cold, amazing as it only opened at 7!! Even the coffee in the machine is only luke warm and the front of the machine is filthy. The only hot thing in breakfast was the toast you made yourself. Btw dont look at the wall beside the toaster it is also dirty, covered in splashes of something or other...

The most annoying thing was the Blonde haired restaurant supervisor lady that wandered about with her mask under her chin making no attempt to try and wear it. I only went for evening meal twice and to be fair it was a vast improvement on breakfast. There is also a leak in the roof on the 3rd floor which ran down the wall every time it rained. The fridges in the room you could only use if you paid 2 euros a day for the pleasure and coffee making equipment was not allowed. Would I go back......not a chance!!
