Combining the wonderfully laid-back quality of a true family-run hotel with the facilities and amenities you'd associate with a big name chain, the Veronica Hotel is quite the surprise. Situated in attractive gardens, and benefitting from an excellent location, close to shops and restaurants, it's a great choice for anyone holidaying in Paphos. And Paphos is a great choice of resort for anyone holidaying in Cyprus. It's got everything you want from this part of the world – the history, the culture, the sand, the sea and the altogether different pace of life, all wrapped up in one fascinating city.
Set in its own wonderful gardens, the Veronica Hotel combines charm and style to great effect. Inside, cool stone tiled floors throughout give it that distinctive Mediterranean feel. While its soft furnishings and comfortable chairs give it the feeling of a comfortable home away from home too.
The outdoor swimming pool is fringed with trees, giving it a Caribbean feel, and offering lots of cool shade to relax in, pre or post swim. We certainly recommend an afternoon dip, a snooze and a little something from the pool-side snack bar or some time in the games room.
Then if you fancy a siesta, you'll find your room wonderfully conducive to a pleasant afternoon nap as well as a peaceful night's sleep. The clean, white walls and tiled floors keep that fresh cool vibe going, and make each room a quiet haven away from the holiday hustle and bustle.
All twin-bedded, en suite rooms are air conditioned and feature a private balcony. And a little part of every day should certainly be spent on the balcony with a cool drink in hand. Rooms also feature phone, TV and hairdryer. A mini fridge is available on request.
As well as the poolside snack bar, the Veronica Hotel in Paphos features an expansive restaurant. The tall beams and crisp linen reinforce that lovely sophisticated air –while the cosy table settings make for all sorts of possibilities: romantic meals for two or big clusters of friends all enjoying dinner together.
The Veronica Hotel in Paphos is one of those special hotels. It's a place that will quickly feel like home. And it's a hotel you'll want to return to next time you're in Paphos. We're sure there will be a next time…

Stayed at the Veronica for the 1st time for 9 nights. Found the staff to be helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious...
Close to all amenities. Breakfast included so very reasonably priced. Did get bored with breakfast after a few days.
This was my second stay at the Veronica. Comfy beds. Plenty of choice of good food in the restaurant...
Room cleaned daily and the rest of hotel immaculately clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful a credit to the manager. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends
Due to some administrative difficulties, we were unable to fly out of Paphos airport, so were driven to the hotel by a friendly and helpful taxi driver - we were glad he did. The hotel was clean, it is clientele is primarily Russian, but it still catered for broader European tastes with the selection of food and drinks. The pool is fantastic, but could do some with some new sun beds perhaps...
Special mention to the duty manager, Yuri, who was incredibly helpful and polite, he's a real credit to the his emplyers.
I will admit that I was pleasantly surprised from the very moment check in started all way throughout our stay at the Veronica Hotel. The most pleasant staff highly accommodating to even the slightest request which does make a massive difference. The room was immaculate, cleaned every single day and even went the extra mile providing extra towels daily even though we only needed the extra for our 1st night...
We had initially booked for 3 days but as we enjoyed the gardens and pool so much we ended up extending for another 4 nights. The buffet lunch and dinner were both with a vast variety of choices that even my picky eating teenaged boy went back for seconds every meal. I cannot express my gratitude for the welcome all the staff extended and can't wait to escape back to Veronica Hotel for another peaceful safe break asap
The hotel is not respecting basic very basic COVID-19 rules, which are usually respected in all hotels in south Cyprus (this is the fifth hotel I tried). Clients (90% Russians) go directly to the restaurant without mask, they take the food gathering around the table without mask nor gloves, “try” their drinks nearby the coffee machine. Disgusting...
The waiters have their masks on below the nose. They don’t monitor nor asks guests to wear their masks while entering the restaurant. I figured this is an habit for the guests and they were probably told by the Russian guide “not to worry”. The receptionist told me she would speak with the manager but the next two days nothing changed. Not even an apology. The non-respect of hygienic rules IS NOT A PLUS FOR A HOTEL, it is rather mandatory. Such a lack of professionality and respect. This should be clearly specified in the website as the guests need to know whether they want to face the risk before spending their money.
The food was old and of very poor quality. The level of clients was very low.
We were only provided two small shampoos for the two days, which they didn’t refurbish. The towels were not changed on the next day.
