This apartment resort is situated on the beach of Txia, 6 km west of Rhodes town and 7 km from Rhodes International Airport. The beautifully decorated and fully equipped complex is built in the heart of a verdant garden, welcomes both children and adults with facilities such as a children's playground, a restaurant and a snack bar with terraces on the beach, a main bar and a beach bar. Lift access is available and there is air conditioning in the entrance hall and public areas. The 109 double rooms feature a sea view. The 95 bungalows provide space and comfort and are located in the main hotel building. An entertainment programme is organised for all customers four evenings a week. The hotel also offers a large swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas around it. Active guests will appreciate the beach volleyball court, tennis, darts and table tennis falisilies.

If you are thinking of coming here, don’t hesitate
It’s our last day at Avra beach… it’s been amazing. The hotel is lovely. We stayed in a sea view family suite and it was spacious, peaceful. The beds were super comfortable which is important when you have a young family.
The food had a great variety and one restaurant with a fixed Greek menu which was nice for a change. There’s something for all tastes. The snack bar was great and was open all day and night, the kids were always there taking advantage of the ice cream.
Beach - the beds, wow… so comfortable. The beach is a pebble beach but was great still the kids enjoyed exploring the rocks. The water is deep but really warm. There are water sports, but we just enjoyed the swim. Sea shoes are a must.
The pools were clean and actually really quiet, they have shallow sections and a small baby pool.
The highlight has to be the entertainment team. They put so much effort to make the guest feel welcome. You can see why people return year after year. Sam, Borgie, Timi, Cyril and Leah. Big thank you. It’s a real family vibe and feel. The evening entertainment was great - something for everyone.
This hotel doesn’t feel 4* - ive stayed in 5* in Mexico and some of the elements at avra are just as good.
We did trips from the hotel shuttle bus to Rhodes old town which was a must see.
We also booked a trip to Lindos, which was stunning. We will this online from get your guide. Lindos is great if you love shopping and spectacular beaches.
Over all - this has been one of my favourite trips. If thank you to everyone at Avra beach. It’s a well ran, family hotel, for something for everyone. We will be back

Should be a 5 star ⭐️
The hotel is a 20 minute taxi from the airport (€15). When we arrived the staff were friendly and quick to check us in, the room was spacious and clean with a view of the garden and pool area. The restaurant has a different theme each night (Greek, Chinese and Mexican). Breakfast is your classic english style breakfast with options of meats and pastries. The beach and pool area have plenty of sun-beds available so no need to wake up early to fight for a bed. The entertainment staff are very friendly and funny, coming round twice a day to tell you about the activities. Pool and bar areas are clean with beach towel exchange and a snack bar. We booked the holiday the day before we arrived (due to other holiday issues) and would say it’s worth every penny. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a 5 star hotel on a budget.

Once again im writing to let you know just what an amazing time i spent with you guys ...i just cant believe each year i return you always make my stay even better just when i think that you couldn't possibly improve , i return and you just never stop impressing me the food is absolutely brilliant there is always plenty of variety and spartalis is absolutely amazing always there on hand so friendly and helpful and caring and so funny he always makes us feel relaxed and at home also vasilis is an amazing guy very warm and friendly hes a great guy makes us feel very welcome ,and you're cleaning staff are just unbelievable they are so friendly and very helpful, also the bar staff i had so much fun i have never laughed so much they are absolutely amazing everyone made me feel like part of the team .. There was spiros in the bar he works so hard hes a top man i really like him we got on together so much .then we have kyriakos in the bar on days ..now this man i absolutely love him he has done so much for me.and all my family over the last 5 years he makes us fell like family..you all do every yaer we come and every year it just keeps getting better ..everyone there is just amazing i cant say enough how much me and my family love you guys we cant wait to see you all again take care ❤️ 💜 ♥️
Holiday at Avra hotel and Roxy the Dog
Gfeat holiday Anastsia and team af the bar are fab. Entertainment team are gab Tibi, Boogie and Cyril are great Aqua gym was great. Massage and spa team so worth a visit as they are awesome and good at what they do. But one of the best bit of the Holiday was meetingb Nikolas and Roxy. What a beautiful dog she is such friendly dog and made our day at Avra Beach Resort Love seeing her and Nicolas every day and playing with her. She is 7 years old and such a softy and she is such a clever dog love watching her walk off lead and how well trained she is. Love that she convinces you the stones are ok to play with but we know not, as bad for her teeth.(its a Shepherd thing My Grandog Shepherd likes to do the same to convince you that its ok and i do this all the time lol ) Such an asset to @avra beach hotel. Makebsurebyoubgive her a stroke and say hibto Nicolas. One of the best parts of our holiday. And you can find both Roxy and Nicolas at their bar Casablanca Sports bar opposite the Avra Hotel. Sippoetbabsmall buisness. Butalso you get kisses and love from a muched love dog .

Amazing holiday
Spent a week at Avra beach and we enjoyed every minute. Our room was modern and clean, we had great views of the gardens, pool and the sea. Food was great with a good selection and different theme nights, good choice of cocktails and other drinks and great sea views from the dining room. Snack/pool bars also really good. Plenty of comfy sunbeds and was great having own beach area so no paying for the sunbeds. The entertainment staff were brilliant, always chatting to everyone and making us feel very welcome. Special shout out to Sam, very friendly, funny and always had time to chat. The hotel had an amazing atmosphere, during the day and evening entertainment was also really good. The location was good, there are a few shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance and we took the bus to Rhodes old town which took about 20 minutes. Sunsets are just amazing, you can sit having a drink watching the sun go down. It was just a fab holiday, one of our favourite hotels to date and we will definitely be back. Thankyou for an amazing holiday.
