Nobody does it better simply outstanding hotel and staff.

Review by Crucible77 Sheffield, United Kingdom

We stayed at the Belle Vue Suites Hotel the first week of August 2022 I have to quite simply say WOW what a fabulous experience. The hotel is simply outstanding. The location is excellent, the cleanliness is superb, the rooms are simply a delight to stay in with fabulous decor and comfortable surroundings. The reception area is wonderful and there is always someone to let you in which is a great feature of the hotel. All of this is delightful but the reality that makes it such a fantastic experience is the quite simply wonderful staff. We received an email before we travelled asking if we had any requirements and they organised a taxi to meet us at the airport where the driver met us holding a card with our name on. It was Nikos who welcomed us on our arrival in the evening coming out to greet us, taking our bags and being extremely helpful. We were then sat down and given a drink and treated wonderfully and Nikos told us "Don't fear Nikos is here" and told us what to expect from the hotel. Throughout our holiday he was simply a complete gentleman, friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Most hotels could learn from having a member of staff of the high quality Nikos is. We decided we wanted a tour of the Island and the lovely friendly manager Katerina sorted this out for us...

The driver Stefanos was a total professional taking us all around the Island. Katerina also came to greet us on our arrival back which was a lovely touch and extremely professional. Katerina obviously runs a great team and hotel.  Breakfast was delivered to our room each day and Dimitris was an absolute gentleman also.  Perfectly on time every day and dressed immaculate, such a pofessional man. Theodorus also was very polite and friendly each time as was the gentleman who worked evenings. Overall experience is simply an 11 out of 10 for us.  Beautiful views, stunning room, a swimming pool we could have to ourselves most days everything was simply outstanding. Quite simply it's the best hotel experience I've had and I've stayed in many. A massive thank you for a wonderful holiday experience you are an absolute credit to your company all of you.

Amazing Stay

Review by thomashD5027NE Viby, Denmark

We stayed at this very nice hotel for a week as a part of our 2022 summer holiday - and it was a true pleasure.

The hotel is situated nicely by the beach and has very nice and spacious suites. There is a great choice of good restaurants near by and only a 10 - 15 walk to Rhodes Old Town...

The fact the the hotel only has 13 suites makes it a place that it very calm and quiet. We had the pool all to ourself most of the time eventhoug it was high season - nice!

But the best thing about the hotel was without a doubt the staff. They were all very professional as you expect from a 5 star hotel, but at the same time they made you feel very much welcome and almost like at home. Thank you for making this a memorable stay.

You will not regret staying at this hotel!

This is such a great hotel. It's like a small boutique hotel but with friendliness and quality turned up to 11.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning, bewildered and parched from our flight and transfer from the airport. Nothing to fear, Mihalis was on hand to welcome us, to soothe us and rehydrate us...

Mihalis is enthusiastic, friendly and reassuring - all at the same time and he brought our bags up to us, explained a few key points about the room and breakfast and left us to fall into a deep slumber in luxury, air-conditioned surroundings.

The following morning we arrived downstairs for breakfast and were taken into the small, though it could be described as intimate, dining area for a delicious breakfast prepared fresh from the menu. It is here that we meet the dynamic duo - Theodore and Dimitrios, the two daytime concierge, who made us feel most welcome and pampered.

Over the coming 14 days, we got to know these fine gentlemen well and it was a privilege to meet them both. Theodore is quick to act, ready to make phone calls and get your issues sorted out with a brisk, no-nonsense approach. It is only after business is tended to, do we see his playful and fun side; passing fist bumps and high-fives to my twin boys and teenage daughter. Dimitrios, has a warm and quiet way about him, very much the ying to Theodore's yang, always greeting me in the morning when we took breakfast in our room (which is highly recommended) with warmth and genuine interest in our plans for the day or evening out of the night before.

Making up the last of this fine concierge team, is Nikos, a handsome young gentlemen with a great sense of humour and sparkle in his eye. He takes the afternoon to late evening shift and we found ourselves spending time in the reception/bar area chatting with him on most nights after we returned from our dinner and evening stroll. Nothing is too much for Nikos and he bounces off Theodore, Dimitrios and Mihalis like a witty, dashing d'Artagnan to the Three Musketeers.

The concierge are amazing. When one of the boys was stung by something at the beach, Nikos arranged a taxi to take us to the hospital and when we wanted to come back, being Saturday night, taxis were scarce. So I called Katerina, the hotel's overstretched yet efficient manager, who got Mihalis to book a taxi to get us. Mihalis called us back to tell us it was coming and he was waiting with some cool, fresh water to greet us after our long wait in hospital.

The hotel is small but beautifully kept. The housekeeping staff do a great job with the cleaning and if anything does get missed (which can happen anywhere) they are on it. In fact, Rita remembered that she forgot to empty the bin and came back almost immediately to do it before we had even noticed. Great service.

The quality of the fixtures and fittings is high. We had a large TV in each room, an ensuite with massage shower which is also present in the main bathroom. The glass sliding patio doors have in-built, electrically powered blinds as well as net and blackout curtains. The 90-degree balcony we had offered amazing views and a great place to chill with a beer in the evening whilst enjoying the breeze and the sound of the waves.

The breakfast is lovely, with a choice of cooked dishes and freshly prepared salads. Unusually, in my experience, is that the choice is slightly broader if you take breakfast in your room, rather than eat in the dining area. There is no buffet. You order what you want from the menu. The menu is prepared by a culinary giant in modern Greek gastronomy and having met him several times, I can say he is just as warm and friendly as the concierge team.

The location of the hotel is on the northern tip of Rhodes, much less than 1km from Rhodes town. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to visit. The beach that the hotel faces is quieter, more windy and with waves, The beach to the north and west of the hotel (3 minutes walk or less) is calm and clear but more crowded. Beach vendors will bring drinks, food and handbags (if you so desire) but are unobtrusive and don't harass you.

We had an amazing time there and like many, we missed out on holidays because the pandemic and it's consequences, so the Bellevue On The Beach Suites had a lot of expectation riding on them from our perspective. And I have to say, they not only met those expectations but smashed them into the stratosphere!

We will be returning again, for sure!

Lovely stay in this boutique style hotel

Review by Chris G West Sussex, United Kingdom

Lovely boutique style hotel, amazing welcome from the manager who took us through everything. Its a nice touch you can get breakfast in your room for no extra charge. The premium sea view rooms are lovely, amazing views out to see for sunsets and the room is large and modern...

The bed was very large and comfortable and the bathrooms were well kitted out. We only ate breakfast in the hotel as we like to try different places for dinner but it was very nice and had a good selection of local fare.

If I had to be picky as its a lovely hotel a couple of small niggles. There is no full length mirror in the entire room, my wife was getting ready and commented it was unusual and she had to go out to the lift a couple of evenings to use a full length mirror.

The hotel website mentions a 'private' beach but no beaches in Greece are private so not sure why it says that, it also says they have service on the beach for drinks, this is not happening at the moment which could be down to their continued covid precautions which the hotel is being super careful about still (which is a good thing). The rooftop pool area is very small, a thin balcony on the edge large enough for about 2 people toe to toe (not wide enough to get sunbeds next to each other) it is a nice pool though but not open air, it has a roof over it.

Comfortable, well-located and the nicest staff

Review by Geraldhe1 Los Angeles, California

A great way to be comfortable in Rhodes without the touristy bustle of the old town. Right on the ocean but with its own (nice) pool. Well appointed and comfortable rooms with stove, fridge etc View of and access to the sea - and a brief walk to any number of restaurants and bars. The staff could not have been more helpful and the breakfast is delicious!
