Greece, Europe

The Dionysos Hotel is a 4+ star hotel set in the largest and most beautiful blooming tropical garden with olive trees and exotic flowers. Passion for detail, boasts a rich, warm and inviting feeling for those who appreciate antiques, classic art, symmetry and design full of history. The main attraction is the amazing, huge Lagoon pool, with 3 a la carte restaurants and 2 pool bars surrounding it. You may experience authentic Greek cuisine or even Mexican Ethnic food, made to order, literally on the water, or maybe, a crafted cocktail to the sound of stimulating music at the Aquarius swim-up bar. During the long summer nights, the Apollo Lobby Bar & Lounge becomes the place to be alongside the lagoon pool, with music events and live shows . Located close to everything and yet so quiet and relaxing, the Dionysos Hotel is in a class of its own.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Our first holiday abroad in 2 years. Great hotel.

Review by Katherine W Swindon, United Kingdom

Booked through Easyjet holidays. Fab choice, beautiful hotel, great prices, pool is salty but really big and clean. We had room 534...

Lovely view across pool and towards sea. Not busy due to covid. Breakfast wear mask and gloves to collect buffet foods but very organised. Would love to return ❤❤

Good hotel, comfortable and with a great swimming pool

Review by andresgs_19a Barcelona, Spain

I spent a week with a friend and it really was worth it. The room was great and clean, plenty of space and with a small kitchen to use if you needed to. However, in our room the water from the shower filtered to the entrance floor...

Also, you couldn't set the AC temperature, only intensity level.

The services at the hotel were great, staff felt a bit in a hurry and stressed sometimes but overall nice and friendly. Food was nice and with prices similar to that of the region. Some dishes weren't available at night, guess in Spain we're used to have dinner too late.

The swimming pool was amazing, really big and with a bar inside, we spent most of the time relaxing there. Clearly the best of this hotel. Wish it was open until later as it closed at 18:00h.

To consider some drawbacks, rooms only have one key (it goes with a magnet) so you can't split if you wanted to, and sometimes it felt like staff was too short and you had to wait to be attended.

Overall, a nice hotel, great for spending a week relaxing in the swimming pool, with nice staff and great restaurants, without too many extras.

Stayed at this hotel 3 times now and love it. The staff are great and the hotel, rooms and grounds are spotless. The pool area is huge and the hotel lobby, entrance and driveway is smart...

There’s a security barrier to control access to the hotel. If you are on the 4th or 5th floor of the main building facing the front of the hotel, you will have some nice partial sea views and great views of the garden’s and hills. The hotel is just a short walk from Ixia beach and 10 minutes drive from Rhodes town. Buses run every 30 minutes to Rhodes town as well. If you fancy a nice long walk you can walk to Rhodes town in between 45 minutes and an hour if you walk at a brisk pace. The hotel is great value for money and thoroughly deserves it’s 4 stars.

Stayed here for two weeks in August, it is a beautiful hotel , located five minutes away from the beach and a load of restaurants. What makes this Hotel is the wonderful staff, everybody you meet here from the lady/gentlemen at the gate, to the cleaning staff. bar persons, and the people at the reception always have a smile in their eyes and a cheery hello. Anything they can do to help you...

they will do with a smile, these people are what makes this hotel such a great place to stay. While we spent out days down at the beach, and evening down on the strip, we did occasionally, return early to have a drink in the bar, one such occasion was the Sunday night where you are gently encouraged to partake in Karaoke , it is a lot of fun, and nobody minds the fact you cannot sing, the lady doing this is fantastic, and get everybody singing along with them. This is definitely a place I would stay in one a future visit to Rhodes. Also a special mention to the staff in the supermarket at the gate, they are just so nice and helpful.

Terrible visit “we carried the bedbugs with us tour home because of this hotel”

Review by A7183WRsamera

I'm writing this as a complain comment about the hotel which is considered a 4-star hotel. A hotel should have a minimum of cleanness which is clean furniture without bugs. I booked a studio for my family and on the second day complained to the reception that there are mosquito and I bought a body spray for it, but still, we are not feeling better...

She said that they would spray the room, But we didn't feel any change. On the last day, after reading about bedbugs and saw a photo; we confirmed that it is not a mosquito. The problem didn't end at the hotel because it seems that it is travelled with us and know I have bedbugs on my home because of this stay..
