Eden Roc is an excellent hotel and shows what all-inclusive should be. The champagne bar and speciality restaurants have fantastic choices of food and drink and the service of the staff was always first class. We stayed for 2 weeks and from checking in until leaving we were impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of all of the staff...
Sometimes making a booking in a speciality restaurant was difficult but the reception staff always managed to help and solve any issues. We found the entertainment good and especially the live music in the champagne and beach bar areas. Well done Eden Roc management and staff.
We visited this hotel in September 2020 and we haven’t stopping raving about it since, so much so my parents and some friends booked to visit this year. We were looking for a last minute holiday and it has always been a rule of ours that we will never return to the same place. We looked at so many different places but we didn’t want to take a risk trying some where new, especially after not being able to holiday properly the last 18 months and we had such a fabulous time here last year.
If you are a foodie and like trying new foods this hotel is perfect for you...
We didn’t eat in the buffet of an evening once, the restaurants are amazing. We had the chance to try the new Peruvian restaurant before it opened it was our favourite meal of the week. If we were given the menu before hand we probably wouldn’t have eaten there as we couldn’t find anything on the menu we would eat, but after talking to the waitress (sorry we didn’t get her name) and following her recommendations we loved every course! Another thing to mention about the Peruvian is the passion fruit cocktail if you love a pornstar martini you need to try, please add this cocktail to your main menu!! The seafood restaurant at lunch time is our favourite, the salmon never disappoints! We also loved the new patisserie and ice cream parlour this year. Most alcohol served is branded and the cocktails are the best we’ve ever had in a all inclusive, I spent the entire week drinking aperol spritz and espresso martinis.
We stayed in the superior sea view room last year which we couldn’t fault, but this year stayed in a garden bungalow. We were given the superior room to have a shower and get ready for our flight home as we didn’t have late checkout and would definitely choose this room over the bungalow again. The bungalow was clean and had ample room but the bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable this was our only negative of the holiday.
We 100% would return again to Eden Roc, like I said we never ever return to the same place twice but wouldn’t even think twice about coming here again, the staff are a real credit to this hotel and there isn’t anyone that couldn’t do enough for you. If you want a relaxed week, with good food this is the perfect resort for it and we would recommend to anyone. You will find whilst your there most people you speak to have been there more than once which also says a lot about this place.
Thank you again for another perfect stay Eden Roc I’m sure we will be back again!!
Firstly our room request was honoured and we received the same location as previously requested via the reservations team (Rena was amazing with all our requests). This hotel is amazing and has everything you could want for a relaxing holiday. The al a cart restaurants are amazing, the Tepanyaki and new Peruvian Restaurants were personal favourites...
Whilst the food was first class in all restaurants, the chefs in the Tepanyaki need a particular mention as although their food was amazing it was their customer interaction that was most notable as it was first class - thank you Paramythia, Yiannis and Nikitas - the best nights of our holiday. During the day Rafael and Alexandros always served us with a smile and friendly chat at the pool bar. This hotel and it's location, and services on the beach, were amazing and I would be hard pushed to ask for anything more. Thank you to all the Eden Roc staff for another great holiday experience, see you all next year
Just returned from our first stay at this hotel - it was superb in every area. Particularly impressed by the staff in every area, food choice and quality, cleanliness in all areas. More details below
Location in a small bay approx 5miles south of Rhodes town - easily reached by local bus (2euros)...
It is located on its own private beach.
Hotel It is modern low rise hotel with a large pool, children's pool, water slide pool and beach. There are ample sunbeds in all areas with sun shades. Rooms are clean ultra modern furniture, comfortable beds, aircon quiet and effective, security box, bathroom / shower in wet room type style.
Dining Several locations - main buffet has excellent choice, quality and very high hygiene standards. Other locations: a la carte Mediterranean is outstanding, also the fish restaurant on the beach is very good. Drinks are served to table in the restaurants. Drinks in pool / beach areas are from many bars for alcohol and soft drinks from dispenser in beach and garden area - good choice of soft drinks.
Staff All are outstanding, helpful, speak good English and their COVID compliance was 100% everywhere. Worthy of praise are George in the champagne bar, the maitre d in the a la carte mediterranean who came to find us when she had a cancellation, and several waiters in the buffet who quickly recognised us and brought our usual drinks before we had ordered them!
COVID Hotel has arranged for on site covid testing to meet UK entry requirements (20 euros) they print off ready for airport. They will also print off UK passenger locator form.
TOP TIP - strongly advise getting prints of covid test ,passenger locator form and vaccine status - this makes it quicker and easier at Rhodes airport. We took 4 minutes those hunting on phones were taking 10 minutes to check in. Hence the 1hour 20 min queue at check in.
The hotel is very good in terms of its staff and quality of food. It is kept clean and the accommodation was very good. We stayed in a Pool View bungalow...
If you stay in these rooms the 800 lounge is excellent and a very relaxing place to eat and drink during the day.
This was not our first choice but unfortunately like many covid interfered with our plans. It is a family hotel which we would normally avoid however that was not a problem and it is a very good hotel for families.
I could not give it a five star review and the reason for this is outside the control of the hotel. The location is not great if you want a walk in the evening although there are frequent buses to Rhodes. The small bay it is in is not beautiful is rather crowded by other hotels and the beach is shingle and feels a little cramped.
This information is probably on the site and as it was not first choice was not a problem.
I really can't fault the hotel all the staff work hard and are very friendly.
