Rhodes

This hotel is the perfect choice for a fabulous beach holiday and the chance to explore the third largest of the Greek islands and a popular spot with holidaymakers. After a day on the beach or by the poolside, guests can explore the many attractions, including Rhodes medieval town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ideally situated on Ixia beach, the hotel is just 6 km from Rhodes Town and 10 km from the airport. There are also many shops, traditional taverns and evening leisure options nearby. This delightful hotel offers guests comfortable accommodation in light, cool and spacious rooms with a balcony or terrace. Guests can relax by the pool, against the backdrop of the stunning Aegean Sea, before enjoying a delicious snack. The main restaurant serves a buffet breakfast including international and Greek specialities. The staff are on hand to offer friendly and professional service.

Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Relaxing end of season stay

Review by IanandNess Stotfold, United Kingdom

We stayed at this hotel from 27/10/21 to their final opening day on 06/11/21 when they shut as it was end of season. Arrived just in time for evening dinner. Must agree with other review that the receptionist was not the happiest of persons. Just booked us in and that was it...

Did not tell us where anything was, except the restaurant, or give us any information leaflets to help us find anything. same when we checked out. Did not ask if we enjoyed our stay or even a thankyou. Hotel was spotlessly clean as was our room which was a nice sea view and overlooking the pool area. Breakfast's were very good. Freshy fried eggs , bacon etc. Lunch and dinner were also good. Suited all tastes. Very COVID compliant in the restaurant where you had to wear a face mask on entering the restaurant and disposable gloves, which were supplied, face mask and gloves had to be worn when getting food from the buffet. As usual the odd one or two did not comply with this. Praise for the staff who work very hard. A please an thank you to them from some people would have gone down well with them when drinks had been served. Special praise to Demetrius and the young lady serving drinks in the Lobby Bar. They knew what we drank after a couple of nights. Demetrius music from his laptop in the bar was very good. Evening entertainment was good some nights in particular the Michael Jackson tribute. Animation Team - He loved to have everything so loud. Snoozing on the sunbed mid morning then bang, music blaring out. Few of us 'old uns' nearly wet ourselves having been woken up suddenly . !!! Why have it so loud. He was he same in the evenings especially when we had to be indoors because of the weather. He loved his microphone turned up very loud. Give them their due they worked hard to keep us entertained which they did. Usual towels on beds early mornings ( The Brits have taken over his from you know who ) there was no need as there were plenty of beds to go round. Probably a different story if the Hotel was full in the height of the summer. Pool towels supplied with a refundable deposit at end of the stay. Pool is freezing !! Sun is on the pool area all day. There is a car hire desk in the Hotel which we took advantage of as we had a couple of days of torrential rain thunder and lightning. Think we had the yearly rainfall for Rhodes on those 2 days. All in all a very nice Hotel hotel with some excellent staff who work hard and deserve praise. Would we go back. I dont think so. The Hotel was very good in all aspects but we have been to Rhodes now a number of times and will look to go to other Greek Islands for a change, Only downside I can find is that there is a very busy main road directly outside the Hotel between the pool are and the beach. The road was very noisy at times. Dont let that put you off though. If you want good service and food in a nice hotel at a reasonable price then I would recommend this one.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff

Review by AndreaB237 Woodcote, United Kingdom

We had a room overlooking the back garden which could do with a few more plants to make it prettier. The only complaint we had about staff was the receptionist who initially booked us in. I can only assume that she doesn't enjoy her job...

She didn't give us any information on the all inclusive facilities etc. Definitely Mrs Grumpy! The rest of the staff were amazing and very friendly. Special mention to Dimitri and Spiros!! The hotel was very clean and Covid compliant with hand sanitiser wherever you looked. We felt safe and well looked after. I did feel that the food could have been a little hotter at times on the buffet

Good

Review by reviewer231231 Penkridge, United Kingdom

Initially, I wrote a ‘negative’ review about this hotel, however, before we left the hotel manager approached me in an attempt to find out what was wrong and solve it.

I’ll start with the good about this hotel which include the staff, the food which on the whole is varied and tasty, and the location. Although I can imagine in summer it is hard to get a sun bed, in October, we managed to get a sun bed throughout the day...

Also, the pool is a good size, although cold in October (which is to be expected).

The main issue we had during this holiday was our room, we paid for an upgraded room through our travel company but were given an old room that is due to be refurbished this winter. The manager explained that this should not have happened and to speak to the travel company we booked through. Also, we had an issue with the sun bed timing as the hotel changed the time where you can leave a towel from 08:30 to 09:00 without telling anyone which caused confusion. This was due to the man around the pool not communicating this. The reason I deleted my initial review and posted this one is because the manager at this hotel made an effort to seek me out and attempt to solve the issue that we had. I would like to thank the hire manager for doing this as usually management do not want to know. Also, a small complaint but we found that food was cold more than once (usually the rice).

Overall, I would stay here again once the renovation work has been completed as the majority of the staff are welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. Especially the manager in the restaurant and the girl with the long dark hair.
