Unreal, can’t wait to go back!

Review by 78dylanp St Paul's Cray, United Kingdom

My friend and I booked this for our birthday and it was the first time I booked all inclusive and I was not disappointed. All staff were so friendly, attentive and kind. The service is second to none and we had a great time...

The restaurants offer a wide selection of food and the private pool view (walk up suite) was to die for! Special shout out to Maria from Alazonia restaurant for making our experience so memorable and welcoming us with a smile/going above and beyond everyday. We can’t wait to go back!

Lovely hotel, great staff, good food and service 😃

Review by selwonk6 Mansfield

We visited Ixia Grand in April, our room was ideal and very quiet, enjoyed uninterrupted sleep every night. We arrived at 10.30pm, staff had left sandwiches, fruit and drink in our room. Food was good, well cooked, lots of choice although the queues to the dining room were often long...

Bar was well stocked, friendly service but again, always had to queue, saying that, the staff that walk around collecting glasses and taking orders were great. Snack bar food was brilliant. Certain guests can book either Japanese or Greek dining one day, as part of all inclusive. The food and service was brilliant. Beautiful pool, plenty of seating and sun beds. The evenings at the hotel were very very quiet, no entertainment, no music. We would have loved the option of having a dance, bingo, a quiz…anything 🤣 The local village was still closed which left you rather out in the sticks. It would be great if the hotel provided a shuttle bus for guests to Rhodes town, at a fee. As it was, we took taxis (the rank is a minutes walk) which cost 11 euro each way, drivers were friendly and helpful. Rhodes old town was brilliant, took a trip to Lindos, which was nice and we took taxis to Seven Springs (35 euro each way) this was so nice. Walk through a tunnel into open water, visit the waterfall and see the peacocks that live there, roaming free.

I would recommend Ixia Grand to anyone, one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in and every Greek person we met was so lovely! Thank you for a great holiday, we will definitely be returning.

Good hotel

Review by linda933rt Turku, Finland

Very nice hotel, good food, nice staff. Only minus is that the ac did not work and there were some ants inside of the room. I really like that people staying in the suites area have an own restaurant (it was quiet there) because the main buffet area was often very crowded with a line by the door...

A brilliant stay at the Ixian Grand!

Review by TayGK Chester, United Kingdom

We had a fabulous time at Ixian Grand and wanted to pop out views on here for anyone considering a trip!

Food - We had a five day stay so only had access to the main dining restaurant. This was absolutely fine with us, breakfast, lunch and dinner were perfect. The staff are so attentive and friendly, the place runs like a dream...

With the all inclusive nature of the hotel I had pretty low expectations but there was something delicious at each meal!

Rooms - We stayed in a garden spa room overlooking the little courtyard and small pool. The room was huge and the balcony was lovely. There is ample storage so you don't have to live out of your suitcase. The bath with the jets was such a nice way to round out the day after being out at the beach.

Facilities - We only really used the beach during our stay. At the tail end of April there was a fair amount of wind (be a bit careful as the wind can make it seem a little chilly whilst you burn under the sun) and the sea is still warming up but there are plenty of people braving the water for a few dips and snorkeling. The pool bar has a great seating area as does the terraces bar inside.

Location - We were absolutely lazy on our holiday and didn't leave the hotel but travel from the airport was super quick and if you have a rental car I suspect its a great spot to explore the island from. For lazy people like us, we just enjoyed laying at the beach watching the haze between Rhodes and the Turkish coast just across the water! ♥

A few subjective cons:

  • We found our mattress super firm which made it difficult to sleep when we are used to our soft one at home. Nothing to be done about this, just be aware if you have sleeping issues.

  • Our room was just above the reception and lounge/bar area which is very busy in the evenings. If you are here, expect the sounds to keep going until around 12ish. This wasn't an issue for us as we were up anyway but early birds might not appreciate it.

Final words: Thanks so much to the kind staff that run the hotel. You do an amazing job and we'll return home feeling well rested and looked after!
