Stayed in the Venezia hotel for a second time after a lovely visit last year. Despite the Covid restrictions being in place my stay at the hotel was very nice. The staff on reception are always willing to help you...
Anastasia on reception in the day is friendly and welcoming and the aussie guy on reception (Can't remember his name) was always cheerful and welcoming. The only slight draw backs were that I was initially allocate a room which had a balcony facing the main road so was not used. I did book late so it isn't the hotels fault as I presume I was just the last allocated a room. However after day 3 a swim up room became available and i paid for the upgrade for the rest of the holiday. Would definitely recommend these rooms if they have availability.
The only other item I would note would be the lack of selection of drinks available on the all inclusive isn't great and ended up some days buying my own from the shop as the beer on offer isn't the best. Other than that I'd definitely recommend this hotel as a somewhere to visit.
Just returned from a lovely week here.
Pool lovely, always sun loungers, but if you want best spot then you’ll have to get up early to reserve a bed. There was a stack of beds by the side so plenty to go around. Pool bar ok but watch out for the wasps that swarm the machines, but the bar staff willing to risk been stung to get you your drink...
Water park has limited opening, when first arrived it was open 11-3 but during the week it went to 11-1.30, which is a shame as some families commented that they had booked hotel as it had a water park.
Rooms nice typical 3 star rooms, fridge, kettle and hairdryer, shower. Kept relatively clean, room cleaned everyday apart from Sunday’s. They could have been cleaner though, dirty and rubbish around the edge of room/under table left from previous guests. No biggy as you don’t go under them. Watch as floor in bathroom gets wet from shower so can be very slippery. Bed hard and poorly made up, was a foot gap at the bottom of the bed where the sheet didn’t fit, bedding not changed throughout the week, not a problem to me as wouldn’t at home, know this as I used spare pillow cases to cover the gap at the bottom so feet weren’t on mattress.
Definitely worth a visit to Rhodes town, the bus stop outside the hotel will take you there and back for €2.40 each way. Was bus number 21. There is a bus timetable on bus stop. It was about a 15-20 min walk to Faliraki centre, longer to walk back up the hill (not massive hill though). There is the local bus and also the hotel bus that goes once day. 10.30 and returns 4.30. Could do with a lunch time bus about 1. Maybe in high season there is more.
Drink- very limited choice of drinks on the all inclusive, the rose wine was nice as were the two cocktails you could choose from, however they were very weak or watered down. (Know cos they went down very well and after drinking 8 I didn’t feel any effect) Shame as for a 3 star in Greece I have had so much better. Bar staff friendly and helpful.
Main restaurant- Food was ok, dishes very nice, limited choice but sometimes quality is better than quantity, could just do with been a bit hotter, would be nice to have a salad bar with plain salad and dressings to add rather than pre made salads. Tataziki was lovely. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast not the best, maybe make fried eggs to order so they aren’t rubbery, more fresh fruit would be nice at all meal times- not sure if this is due to Covid and supply issues tho. Never went hungry and I enjoyed the food, but a lot of people were choosing to eat out. Pizzas at lunch time were nice. Amazing views from restaurant.
Lovely hotel but could be so much better with a few tweaks as mentioned above. I’ve stayed and worked in a lot of 3 star hotels in Rhodes and Greece and just don’t feel it’s a 3star which is a shame as could have so much potential.
Would recommend for couples and young families. If you are looking for a lively hotel this isn’t it. No entertainment day or night and all inclusive ending at 11 so wouldn’t recommend for girly/lads holiday.
We booked this hotel as it was a bargain price for an all inclusive week. Our room was near reception on the ground floor bed was very comfortable and the shower was very very powerful plenty of hanging space but there was a lack of drawers. Food was lovely and always a good choice, drinks were hit and miss but the lack of entertainment let it down as there was none at all...
We loved the pizzas from the snack bar definitely worth a visit. We walked it into falaraki most evenings which took about 30 minutes to the centre but got a taxi back as the walk back is all uphill. Our favourite bar/restaurant was La Esquina their cocktails were the best. The hotel, pool and bar areas were spotlessly clean and we found all the staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Stayed from 3 October for a week, weather was fantastic, overall a fab hotel rooms were good with power showers,2 main pools and water park good fun, food generally good apart from salad(can we please just have some plain salad not the tossed mixed up stuff)walk down the hill and taxi up wasn’t a problem, shuttle bus to the beach and back, great beach with plenty water sports-would return
This is a lovely hotel with fantastic views but unfortunately that means it is far away from the centre of Faliraki. It’s about a 20 minute walk down the hill and takes double that back up again it’s a killer 😂. The hotel has good and bad points...
Good : We had a superior room which had a great view. The pool areas are great. The food in the main restaurant was good. The fresh pizzas during the day were excellent this is the best feature of the all inclusive. The water park was fun too. Bad : strong cordial passing as juice orange/pineapple etc, tasteless fizzy drinks and the wine and beer that were nasty too. Not a very good selection at all for an all inclusive. Loved Faliraki itself though lots to do - did a boat trip, hired quads, got a cab to a fab beach bar called Galazio and got the bus into Rhodes Town. Will definitely be back but probably not to this hotel it was very nice but would stay in the centre next time.
