Im not usually the type of person to wrote a review but this time i was very let down. To start of good the room was very nice and spacious. When we went down for dinner i was expecting a Better quality of food than that ...
Me and my boyfriend didnt eat and had to order online for delivery At 9pm !! It was so tasteless and cheaply made But then the breakfast was great i dont know why the dinner was awfull. When we went up to our room at 8.30pm ish we switched on the air conditioning and the awfull smell of Bacon and toast that was coming out from it made us open all the windows and turn off the ac!! We were So pissed!! Also the pools were very small , the cave pool we didnt even hesitate to even walk to it because it was soo crowded and it looked very different then adveritsed, the other pool was very small aswell and not deep infact it was full with children that we had to get out because we weren’t comfortable. So disappointed in this stay was suppost to be a few days of relaxation... hope these problems are tackled.
In summary nice hotel but front office Staff I came across seem to require some basic customer service training. During covid 19 having staff with poor attitude greeting customers could severely impact business. Would have loved for this to have been different...
Please take note. Details below..
I received multiple emails prior to arrival asking for any requests. I requested a room on the upper floor, sea view and the ability to check in early if possible. I received a response that it may be possible on chdck in.
I arrived early and the lady on the front desk (Dolores) came across as extremely rude. Explained the room booked meant I can't get anything I requested if I wanted I could pay for an upgrade, made me wait ten mins and then asked me to come back. When I came back two hours, pretty much asked my name handed me a key and avoided any interaction as possible. Seemed to have a terrible attitude for some reason. To note this is during coronavirus season so the hotel was not at full capacity, so there was time to go the extra mile to interact with guests. I asked her where the luggage room and received quite a blunt response.. It was closed and pointed to the wall. Asked about the car parking.. Was told its closed.. No explanation why. Asked about breakfast and was told it's on sheet. Terribly let down and felt like the service of a hostel rather than a hotel marketed as luxury.
Breakfast: I observed very strong controls for covid. Enhanced Cleaning and staff to help serve. One tip to chef is ensure eggs are covered both days they were cold and required seasoning.
Early check in and room upgrade were perfect; very friendly staff and great breakfast and dinner at the hotel; thanks to the team of James; we felt save in times of COVID 19. Great job, perfect holiday; see you again
