The Pergola Club will soon feel like your holiday home away from home. Rooms are comfortably appointed and very tastefully furnished. They create that very homey environment that you'll really be able to relax in.
Rooms are air conditioned and feature a balcony or terrace. From here, you can savour the wonderful views while you relax with a drink. Additional facilities include an en suite bathroom, satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a room safe.
The Pergola Club boasts some wonderful amenities for all visitors to enjoy. There are two outdoor pools, as well as an indoor pool and children's pool. Being so close to the sandy beach you can enjoy swimming in the sea as well.
If you find yourself working up a hearty appetite, you'll be glad to hear that the Pergola Club has a selection of restaurants and bars. It's nice to have the option to 'eat in' – especially when you've had a busy day out and about – and the Pergola Club menus offer flavours for all tastes.
Adding to the sense of this being a very relaxing place to stay, you can enjoy a wide range of relaxing treatments at the on-site Da Vinci Spa. With a selection of pampering packages, you might want to treat yourself more than once.

Poor Administration and Unnecessary Harassment
What made the situation far worse was the way the hotel handled it. Rather than investigating the discrepancy, they repeatedly telephoned both our room and my mobile phone demanding payment. They even approached friends we were holidaying with and asked them to locate us. This happened while we still had several days remaining of our holiday and made us feel as though we were being chased over a dispute that had not even been properly investigated.
When I asked a straightforward question—if our booking really showed two infants, why wasn't this identified at check-in when you already knew our children's ages and had happily sold us additional drinks packages? no one could provide an explanation. Instead, we were simply told that it was our problem to sort out.
Hotels make mistakes. Booking systems make mistakes. What separates a good hotel from a bad one is how those mistakes are handled. Instead of listening to us, reviewing the evidence, and resolving the issue professionally, the hotel chose to pressure us for payment throughout our holiday.
The experience completely overshadowed what should have been a relaxing family break. We spent part of our holiday dealing with phone calls, unnecessary stress, and trying to defend a booking that, according to our confirmation, had been made correctly.
I cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience. If you value good customer service, common sense, and being treated with respect when issues arise, I would look elsewhere.

Fantastic holiday
Perfect holiday, the staff are warm and welcoming ,the accommodation is great very luxurious. Perfect for beach and sightseeing. Staff are helpful and friendly and a big thank you to Dhanchhi and her team In the dinning room .Food is 5 star.
No functioning air conditioning
We stayed at the Pergola Hotel & Spa for several nights and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the air conditioning in our room did not work. Despite reporting it immediately and following up on four separate occasions, the issue was never resolved. We were repeatedly told it had been fixed when it hadn’t, and we were informed there were no alternative rooms available.
The room temperatures remained around 30–31°C throughout our stay, making it almost impossible to sleep. As I am 21 weeks pregnant, this made the situation even more uncomfortable and concerning. Had we known there would be no functioning air conditioning, we would never have booked this hotel. It is unacceptable to charge guests full price for accommodation that does not provide such a basic facility, particularly during the Maltese summer. We were offered no effective solution and no compensation despite the issue remaining unresolved for our entire stay.
Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel and would strongly advise others to consider alternative accommodation.
