Great stay!

Booked with 3 other friends. Was supposed to stay here last year but we moved it forward. First time visiting Malta...

The hotel was nice and clean. Indoor and outdoor pools, not too busy and very welcoming people which is always important for me. Stayed in 2303 and 2304 with my few friends, and as someone who works in a hotel I really paid attention to the service and body language of staff. Everyone was welcoming and very helpful. Special thanks to Zoe (the intern, I think thats her name) and Ana was also great. The tall male receptionist was also helpful. Thanks to all, would visit again.

Surprise birthday at Solana

The Hotel looks beautiful with very spacious rooms. Staff are very helpful and go out of their way to support you. It was a surprise holiday so when we arrived as a group of 29 l expected a welcome drink. I guess it’s not something they usually offer...

We went to the pool no one had told us that we get the towels at reception, the pool was too small on pictures it looks big. You are expected to carry wet towels to reception l am not sure why they don’t have a collection point for the towels. The buffet dinner the was good. I think they should label the types of meat as not everyone likes horse meat. My birthday dinner was spectacular in their Tosca restaurant it was awesome. The breakfast was. great, basic and Luke warm. Overall it was a brilliant stay

We stayed at Solana hotel from 15-18June for my sister’ birthday I did a booking for 29 people; we celebrated my sister’ birthday in Tosca Restaurant. Firstly I would like to thank Solana hotel for helping organising and planning our trip I was lead of the group their support in the months before we travelled was incredible This made planning and organising smoothness they were quick to respond to my emails on the day of the celebration their staff were present to help us - on behalf of our group we are grateful I loved the pool at the terrace there were enough sun Loungers and bar -convenient for drinks and snacks I enjoyed my massage the best I have ever had The food in the restaurant was varied fresh and well cooked and breakfast was good The staff welcoming and did their best to cater our needs they are so polite and truly deserve a big thank you -tips they work hard and do so much to meet customers’ needs We have fond memories of stay at Solana it was good positive experience Thank you to the managers ,reservations staff Restaurant staff keep up the good work We will be back again

Great week, everything was spot on Superior Room with balcony and breakfast package.

Staff were great in all areas of the hotel, helpful & polite Enjoyed the roof terrace for a drink most early evenings, would have been a bit too crowded for us to sunbathe Breakfast was the same offering throughout the week but there was enough on offer to vary what we had each day Tosca was excellent used it once on our wedding anniversary Prickly Pear was our favourite over the week, the menu, staff and general ambience was great There is also plenty of choice for other places to eat on the High Street and down at the beach to suit most budgets

We did use the beach on 4 days and then day trips to Valletta, Rabat and Mdina

Would recommend the week bus pass at 21 euros each for 7 days, hop on, hop off, loads of buses all air conditioned, lots of bus stops not too far apart, used them daily up and down to the beach and for all our day trips

Did visit St Paul’s and Bugibba where we stayed 7 years ago on our last trip to the island, found them to a bit scruffy and run down

Would definitely recommend Malta, Melliaha and the Solana - would like to think we will visit all three again in the near future
