Cavalieri Hotel

TripAdvisor Review
Malta and Gozo, Europe
St Julians

Thinking of holidaying in St Julian's, Malta? You're in for a treat. One of the island's newest resorts, it's already one of the most popular. And partly that's because of some of the fabulous hotels here – in fact there are more luxury hotels in St Julian's than there are anywhere else on the island. And the Cavalieri Hotel is an easy recommendation.

The Cavalieri Hotel is the ideal choice for so many reasons: its facilities are top notch, and its location is perfect – quietly tucked away, but only a few hundred yards from the heart of St Julian's Spinola Bay.

For superb facilities in Malta's most eclectic resort; it's got to be the Cavalieri Hotel:

St Julian's promises the quintessential sunshine holiday. Long, hot days at the water's edge or, if you're staying at the Cavalieri Hotel, you can enjoy the hotel lido too. At night, you can explore along the harbour-front discovering tucked away restaurants and cafes, or just taking in the heady evening air. The bright lights of adjacent Paceville draws younger travellers to the entertainment centres' many clubs.

With the Cavalieri Hotel as your base, you've got the best of both worlds; all that St Julian's and the Cavalieri have to offer. Comfort is definitely on the menu; the wonderfully cool, air conditioned rooms boast twin beds and en suite bathrooms (with shower and bath). Each has satellite TV, radio, direct dial phone, safe, (unstocked) mini bar and tea/coffee too. Hairdryers are available upon request at no extra charge.

The hotel also boasts two bars and a TV room. And with live entertainment on offer most nights, you'll soon be busy having the time of your life.

As you'd expect with a hotel of this quality, there are so many extra amenities, including a GP on call, an on-site laundrette and dry cleaning service; even a souvenir shop. And, with its solarium and second pool (which is heated through the colder months), the Cavalieri Hotel is just as popular in the winter too.

St Julians is one of Malta's most vibrant and popular resorts, and the Cavalieri Hotel is one of its most popular places to stay. So if you are really thinking about a holiday in St Julian's, why not come and see the best that this island has to offer?

Better than expected

Review by wtyler23 Nottingham, United Kingdom

I booked the holiday at short notice looking for a budget get away with the family. The reviews were mixed at the time of booking but after booking there were lots of really negative so I was a little concerned about what to expect.

I have to say that there was nothing to worry about! Ok there are a few issues with the hotel in that some of the decor in the bedrooms is in need of a refresh, and the air conditioning could be a bit cooler but the food is great, the bedroom is cleaned daily, and we had fresh towels every day...

The pool is a little on the small side but as you have the bay to swim in this isn’t an issue. Loads of sun beds so never felt that I had to rush to get one in the morning.

For what I paid which worked out a little over £100 per person per day including flights and half board. I think this hotel is great value for money.

Don’t get too concerned about the negative reviews, this place is well worth a visit.

Review by luqamalta Amsterdam, The Netherlands

After arriving in the early hours and not enjoying my room I went to reception twice and was third time lucky when I met reception staff member called Abir she was very friendly, precise knew her stuff immensely beautiful to boot, also I must mention for the same reasons a staff member called Karolina, our room after that was much improved nice balcony with sun beds and idyllic sea views I would definitely return I highly recommend this place.

Elevators don’t stop at each floor. No availability of late checkout. A lot of noise everywhere. No real photos.

Review by Daydream20432520197 Craiova, Romania

Elevators not working properly- they dont stop at every floor. No late checkout. Photos on booking far from reality...

Noise everywhere. Doesn’t worth money spent. Old towels at the pool. Old hotel!! A lot of children groups that dont respect other people. Think twice before choosing it!
