Very unhappy existing guest still here avoid !!!!
This Hotel is in need of major refurbishments and is not a 5 star hotel . The initial 2 pools have beds without pads very uncomfortable and very dirty chewing gum stuck to the floor ants everywhere which have bitten us all! The pools are dirty and the adult area has sunbeds with pads but they are old and filthy and not fit for purpose. We are here now three days in we have stayed in the Weston Dragonia Hotel nearby in May this year which is 1000 percent better and a proper 5 star hotel !!! There are 1 hour queue for breakfast and if and when you get in many basic product s ie beans none left!! To top it off we booked a family deluxe superior room with 2 x Queen Size beds overlooking the Marine that is the only part they got right we are Overlooking the Marina !! With a basic room with 2 x standard double beds and mattresses which are cheap poor and not comfortable . The Duty Manager Mamood having offered us earlier the correct room with Queen beds which we initially requested a 500 euro credit instead which over 7 nights would cover the difference in room rates was refused is not trying to state we do in fact have the correct room after all !! When has a double bed been a queen bed when has a basic room been a superior room I would not touch this Hotel again with a barge pole and was speaking to a lady this morning who last came 10 years ago and couldn’t believe what it is like now !! Please don’t spoil your holiday by booking this place you will be very disappointed tee especially if you want a 5 star clean hotel which has comfortable beds clean pools and areas and where u can actually get breakfast !!! If I could leave a 0 star review I would unfortunately their very well published photographs don’t show the current State of the place Stephen Ward currently a guest !!!!!
Beautiful Hotel
We have just returned from Hilton Malta, and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and have absolutely everything you need. We had a marina view in the first floor and it was amazing. Every member of staff we came into contact with were so friendly and the younger members of staff who worked at the Merkanti beach bar were nothing short of amazing, they never stopped working. We chose to stay by that pool every day as it’s adults only, it looks like there was lots going on in the main pool for children. We will definitely be back to this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.
Great hotel but St Julian is NOT a family friendly area once you go outside!
This is a lovely hotel, great range of pools, lovely breakfast selection, a couple of nice bars. Staff are all friendly and helpful and we had a really nice family room, large and very clean, has a fridge for your own use. Had the buffet meal one evening which is a set price but didn’t think that was worth the money, pretty average. However, when you go out of the hotel in the evening it is teeming with teenagers and bars go very loud (okay in the day), heavy traffic and lots of litter and mess. Some nice bars and restaurants, all very crowded, but the ones full of youngsters smell of weed and very noisy. Ended up going to Valletta a number of evenings, it’s really picturesque, lots of nice bars and restaurants. Visited in the day and cathedral is an absolute must see, incredible history everywhere! Trip to Gozo highly recommended it’s so charming and lots of history again. Recommend Malta as a holiday location but would pick a different area next time! Family of three, adult son and parents, stayed B & B.

Nice location
Nice location and helpful staff in the lobby. We had problem with the AC which was fixed for the coming day but the same problem the next day. After three bad days we moved to a new room. The pool areas were nice. The restaurant under the olive trees very good with OK prices and fantastic food. The lounge could have followed the dress code and not accepted all people.
Holiday at the Hilton Malta
The hotel is in a lovely location, although it is quite near to Paceville it is easy to stay away from that area if you are not into the party scene, we had a room overlooking the marina. It was beautiful. The staff are all lovely and very helpful, but we have to make a special mention for Nalin one of housekeeping staff, who cleaned our room immaculately and who went above and beyond to give us a new towel art display each time he cleaned our room. The swans were done on our second last day, as well as the flower basket and a lily plant was also waiting on the table for us. It was a lovely surprise every time we opened our room door and really added that special touch to our holiday.
