This hotel is strategically situated in Torremolinos in the heart of the Costa del Sol, facing the beautiful sandy beach. Various excellent golf courses are within easy reach, and the centre of Malaga with its shopping facilities and business offices is only 12 km away. In the surroundings, there are many restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. The international airport is a few minutes ride away. Business guests will appreciate the venues the property offers to host business meetings, conferences and other private events for up to 600 people. The outdoor swimming pool area is perfect to sunbathe or have a relaxing swim. The elegant rooms are decorated with light colours and are equipped with all the essential needs for a wonderful stay. After a long working day, guests can exercise in the mini gym, or be pampered in the top-notch 350m² Thalasso Spa with a heated seawater pool, Turkish bath and sauna. At the Rooftop Sky & Sea (adults only) guests can enjoy the panoramic views over the Mediterranean, take a bath in the pool and have a cocktail at the bar. Customers who want "something more" can opt for The Level rooms (adults only) with exclusive access to the Rooftop The Level Lounge, with terrace, pool, relax area and drinks with snacks. An incredible hotel for business travelers in a magnificent and relaxing environment.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Stayed for 8 nights at the Melia Costa del Sol at the end of September in a Level room. Hotel itself was fantastic just across the road from the beach and on the main strip in Torremolinos. Staying at the Level made it extra special and we spent most of our days at the dedicated rooftop Level pool which was fabulous. The staff at the Level were second to none and we must say a special thank you to Marta, Laura, Noelia and Encarni who weee so kind and accommodating.
We have just returned once again from the Hotel after a 9 night stay Upon check-in at Reception we were welcomed by Victoria who was very professional as usual and in no time we were on our way to our room. Since our last stay all rooms have been refurbished. Everything was spotlessly clean around the hotel, pool and restaurant areas. All staff are very friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble
The breakfast and evening Meal will to suit all tastes with Adriana and the 3 Sandra’s providing a brilliant waitress service. I would also advise you take note of the notices that indicate times when the Breakfast and Evening meal is very busy to avoid queuing
The Kavana on the beach is the trump card for lunch and dinner or a Drink with Juan and the team offering superb service,
I would suggest before you book you check the Melia web site to ensure the room meets your requirement i.e. full sea view or partial so when you arrive you are not disappointed
An enjoyable stay in a really nice hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean around the hotel, pool and restaurant areas. All staff were very friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The main pool was covered by shade by 3pm each day but the Sky Terrace pool had sunshine all day if required.
The breakfast was to suit all tastes and delicious. You can use the Beach Club and Kavana on the beach for lunch and dinner and charge to your room, both were superb.
The hotel is in a fantastic location close to the beach and a short walk to the other resorts of La Carahuela and Benalmádena so something for everyone.

Hotel first class only negative was the poor food selection. The food was of a poor quality Luke warm and very repetitive. Should have noticed the microwave on the end of station. Tuna salad every night. Turkey three nights running. Choice of two or three vegetables one being chips or steamed potatoes. Sweet highlight was a Cornetto.
First time visiting Spain and this has set the bar pretty high. The location had the beach front across the road and the old town up some steps if you know whitby.. this is on par...(or you could take a lift for a euro).. From the moment we arrived. Front of house were friendly and helpful and gave us loads of information. Our rooms were spacious and clean, sea views were included. Tea / coffee making facilities and a mini bar / fridge were also in the room. The restaurant and the food for both our breakfast and dinner (half board) had such a variety of choices and we never left hungry. Again staff were friendly and remembered what drinks we normally ordered with our meals. The bar had different acts on each night and the adults only pool and bar on the roof had a chilled vibe... get there early to secure a lounger though!.. the whole atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing, something that was well needed with working a stressful job, and for a week, on half board, with fantastic food drink weather and service.. the price was definitely a plus. A hotel we will 100% be coming back to.
