This hotel is located directly in the tourist centre of Torremolinos and is separated from the sandy beach by just a road. An array of shops and entertainment attractions are located within 3 kilometres of the hotel. The closest airport is just 7 km from the hotel. Public transport departs from stops located directly in front of the hotel.
This attractive apartment hotel was built in 1975 and renovated in 1997. The hotel offers a total of 326 guestrooms spread over 4 floors of which 12 are singles, 128 doubles and 186 are apartments. The facilities include a spacious lobby with a lift, a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a conference room and a games room. In addition, it has a cosy café, bar, shops and an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for younger guests. Medical assistance is also on offer for should it be necessary. The hotel offers younger guests a playground and kids' club.
The rooms and apartments are tastefully decorated and include an en suite bathroom. In addition, they are fitted with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, central heating and a safe.
Guests are offered a swimming pool, a pool bar, sun loungers, parasols, a hot tub, water aerobics, a solarium and massage service as well as a diversified entertainment programme.
Guests may choose their breakfast, lunch or dinner from the respective buffets. Guests may also book all-inclusive stays.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic stay!
My wife and I have just spent a week at the Occidental Torremolinos and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday.
From the moment we arrived, all the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and cheerful. The whole hotel has such a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, and everywhere was spotlessly clean.
The check-in system is a little strange, using a ticketing system, but it didn’t affect our stay at all. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. There’s no kettle in the room, but reception brought us one up when we asked.
The food was easily the best all-inclusive food we’ve ever had, and we’ve stayed in quite a few hotels. The evening meals in particular were absolutely divine! The cocktails were also the best all-inclusive drinks we’ve experienced — they actually tasted like proper cocktails!
The evening entertainment was brilliant, funny and really enjoyable. A special mention to the bar staff too — both daytime and evening staff were always smiling and genuinely seemed to love their jobs.
The location is fantastic for walks along the beach, and Málaga is only around 10 minutes away by train. We paid roughly €3.60 return each, making it really easy and cheap to explore.
The bottled water available behind the bar was another lovely touch and something you don’t always get at all-inclusive hotels.
Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. Some of the negative reviews nearly put me off booking, but I’m so glad they didn’t! Our experience was fantastic from start to finish and we would happily return.

The hotel is superb for us as we know the place and know how to get around if you except everything to be close I would look at another hotel but don’t let this put you off as the hotel is lovely in every way and we will be going back next year
we had stayed here before & didn’t hesitate to come back we had an excellent holiday here again & this tim we took family members along as we reccommended it & they were not dissappointed
Just by the beach Quiet and happy place for families or elderly Rooms are clean and spacious and with air conditioning Good value for what you need Very well maintained communal pathways, swimming pools and reception Very peaceful, so if you're looking to get drunk and party, this is not the place for you, go elsewhere. As a guest I prefer hearing crying babies than drunk adults. Excellent service all around, food is plenty and very very good
Sara on the reception desk was amazingly helpful. Myself and my husband checked in for a 1 week stay. The room given to us, I wasn't particularly happy with but it was changed immediately by Sara. The rooms were very clean, the maids came in every day. The pool areas were clean and tidy all day. The food choices in the main restaurant were fresh, always topped up and you could easily find something to eat (even my fussy husband) Great hotel, although I would've liked the entertainment to have been a little better seen as there is nothing really local to go too.
Our friends joined us for a long weekend and they were impressed by the hotel and thought the food choices were good etc.
I would definitely return if I was looking for a fly and flop holiday.
