Just returned from our third visit to this hotel. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious, the evening entertainment is very good and the hotel is clean. The view from the marina side is great and the hotel is in a fantastic position, BUT WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE FOOD ? It is not that the food it's self was bad but the cooking was terrible . Deep fried egg , vegetables that must have been cooked for hours and turned to mush, fish and meat over cooked so that you couldn't get a knife through it. There was very little daily variation in the food. I know that bye the time this review is published the hotel will have closed for the season but the end of the season is no excuse for such a marked drop in quality
Our first visit to Costa del sol. And this hotel did us proud. Public areas are fantastic certainly 4 star. Rooms not quite 4 star. All the staff spoke good English and were always friendly and polite. We had the All Inclusive option the food around meals had a very good choice. Not overly varied by the stand was very good, not always as hot as you might like. Drinks on the All inclusive were limited but enough for us. Pool areas all ways busy. Sunbeds scarce people still hogging them when they are not there. For mid November it was full . Great position for walking up and down the promenade. All in all a great holiday.
Spent the last 10 days at this hotel. Found it be excellent from reception to house keeping. They offered a facility to put one’s drinks on a tab and offering a discount when you pay your account. We availed of this offer. One of the best facilities was the internet service which was brilliant with a constant service though out the hotel. We found the food acceptable. But at times hot food was not hot all the time . It was understandable catering for a hotel that appeared to be fully booked.
First visit to this Hotel in 36 years!!! It felt very familiar but but recently refreshed it had a modern feel in the perfect location for exploring the Marina, Torremolinos, Benalmadena and beyond
Room was in building 3 with a seaview. Large room, very big comfy bed, plenty of hanging space, sofa bed, 2 TV’s , speaker, safe, mini bar not stocked and a kettle but no tea or coffee so take your own. Bathroom had a really good shower with shower gel and a shampoo in refillable bottles.
Breakfast, very busy but very good. The hotel was fully booked but all food was constantly topped up as required, lots of choice.
Pool area was lovely, plenty of sunbeds, however the reason for only 4 stars…..no heated pool. Advertised as having a small heated pool, all the pools were freezing. I asked reception which pool was heated, they said the walk in pool by the playa bar, tried it again, definitely NOT heated which was a real shame.
Beach had sunbeds which were very comfy, but €7 euros each for the day, should be included for guests.
Playa bar had a good range of drinks but the food was a bit of a let down, better lunch options a short walk away.
I would return for another mini break.
We had the best stay, 10-13th of November, weather was 26 degrees , incredible , location of this hotel is perfect, staff amazing, beautiful pool areas, great entertainment, would absolutely recommend and will be back
