There is a choice of three swimming pools in the outdoor complex - two family pools, and one just for kids - along with a pool bar and plenty of spots to sunbathe. Some more active facilities include; a multi-sports court, table tennis, a gym and even a mini golf course!
With lots going on around the hotel including; a kid's club, animation team and entertainment programme, there is no doubt that there is something for everyone. The rooftop terrace is the perfect spot to chill out, make some new friends or just to simply soak in sea and mountain views all whilst sipping on a beverage from the rooftop bar (weather permitted, from 11:00-17:00 hrs; self-service).
Rooms are bright and spacious. All are complete with a furnished balcony offering views of the hotel grounds. All rooms are en-suite, are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV*, telephone, safety deposit box* and a hairdryer.

We have just returned from a 7 day break at the Chatur Costa Caleta. We were attracted to the holiday primarily on the price and having been to the resort before we were happy with its location. I did read reviews before going so felt reasonably happy. Access to the reception on arrival is by steps or ramp. The hotel does have lifts but they are a bit temperamental so be patient. We had a 3rd floor room with a sea view. The room was clean and adequate. There is no tea making facility in the room. You will need to pay for a safety deposit box at 2.75 euro per day payable in cash at reception. They do supply pool towels for a 10 euro per towel deposit, which you get back at the end. Again this is payable in cash. There is the usual issue over sunbeds in the morning with towels out early. The down stairs pool area has a large pool and a smaller family one but due to the buildings you do end up chasing the sun round because of shadow. We used the adult roof terrace every day which gets the sun all day but there are no umbrellas because of safety. There is a small dip pool. There are signs for a nudist area on the roof but we didnt venture !!!! The hotel does advertise mini golf and a jacuzzi pool on the roof but both of these were closed and according to some, have been for a long time. The food was basic and edible but dont expect theme or speciality. Breakfast was always good with the usual English and continental offering. in our 7 days there was a few repeats at lunch and dinner. Desserts were ok but again basic. Ice cream was available. Fresh fruit was mainly Melon, Apple, Oranges and Bananas. All other fruit options were from tins (Strawberries, peaches, pears). Drinks are self serve for beer, soft drinks and wine. on tap. The staff levels in the restaurant seemed minimal and table clearing and preparing seemed slow. Staff were not very interactive or smiling but perhaps due to the workload. One lunchtime there was no clean cutlery availble for a while. The roof top sun terrace has a self serve bar for beer, soft drinks and wine on tap. Its not the cleanest area but we had no after effects. There is the same downstairs plus an inside bar near reception. The evening bar is in the entertainment area and there is a queing system. In our opinion staff again a bit surly but again they are always busy. The Entertainment is ok, and includes bingo, quiz and singers. The team work hard. Childrens disco does happen. Its a mixed nationality hotel so bingo took a while !!!!! You are close to the beach and resort with a 5 minute level walk. We have been 3 stars before but feel this one is not quite making it. We think it needs some TLC and review by the holiday companies and management. Would we return ? The answer for us is a no.
Just back from a 1 week stay and for the price we couldn’t fault it . Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Food - always plenty of choice and was really nice . Pool area was spotless . All of the staff are lovely and work very hard to ensure you have a fab holiday . 10 minutes from the airport which is a bonus .Will definitely return to this hotel.
Just back from a week at Hotel Chatur booked through love holidays all inclusive. Overall a great holiday- hotel is 3 star and a bit dated so I don’t understand why some guests expect more when they’ve paid for a cheap holiday. Saying that the staff were friendly especially on reception who sorted a change of room for us as we needed a wet room as my husband has mobility issues, hotel, rooms and pool area kept very clean, food fine especially good choice at breakfast and lunch- we ate out most nights though. Swimming pools lovely- we used the big pool which was great as had steps into pool so my husband could use it. Sun loungers not comfortable I agree but not a problem getting one. There is a smaller pool too and kids pool as well as a roof top pool. Location is fabulous! Ten minutes from airport. Short walk to beautiful beach and promenade as well as bars and restaurants- all flat walks although pavements quite ropey in places! Our only issue with resort was a lot of bars with live music were up or down steep stairs so we couldn’t get in - surprised us as resort is aimed at older clientele - a lot using mobility scooters. Hotel was very accessible though with working lifts and ramps to bar and pool area. Bar in evening could do with more staff as was always a long queue and don’t like plastic cups in evening- there is another bar which they shut at 6pm so that could have stayed open. We went out most evenings but they put on bingo, quizzes, singers snd an acrobat act. There was a burst pipe over the restaurant on our second day but the staff did their best to get it sorted and managed to still put on a breakfast snd lunch. The only real disruption would have been to the guests whose rooms were affected but even then they were back in their rooms by teatime. I recommend this hotel if you want a cheap holiday in the sun!
Really enjoyed are holiday met some lovely people nearly all the clients return I thought the presentation of food choices were good my only gripe is sunloungers very uncomfortable no padding on them one bar open at night with 2 staff it gets very very busy so would be great if management payed attention to this when they do have another bar that's shut at 6pm I do like entertainment not very good Im not in a rush to go back alot of clients said the same apparently it's changed not for the better
I have visited the hotel twice previously when It was a decent three star hotel but unfortunately on this occasion it did not achieve that standard. The daily quality of the food varied with lots of pork prepared differently The queues at the bar on at least three occasions were twenty to thirty metres long which makes people order double the amount making, which subsequently delayed your service and gets very very frustrating. The animation team are young and inexperienced and quiet noisy. On three nights there were professional entertainment which was good. They had a burst water main in the restaurant which caused havoc and for a few days indicating a lack of experienced engineers,also resulting in no air conditioning in the bar area. So not an enjoyable holiday so I will not return.
