The Club Caleta Dorada apartments are located in the tranquil tourist town of Caleta de Fuste, with panoramic views of the surrounding area. The apartments are situated in three different areas within the gardens of the complex, each with its own separate swimming pool. The sandy beach is 750 metres from the complex, whilst the local supermarket, restaurants & bars are all within easy walking distance.
Tired resort, rooms clean but on the whole needs a lot of maintenance. Was probably great in its hey day.
You have to pay €1 for a plastic tumbler that you use for your stay. There are tiny glasses in the restaurant and if you arrive early enough you might be lucky enough to get a wine glass.
Food is bland but acceptable, there was something for everyone.
Large resort, split into 3 areas. After 6pm only area ‘c’ has a bar open so if you don’t want to watch the entertainment there is no where else to go.

It’s also on the landing flight path, they start around 7.30 and finish about 11.30

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel once last year and now this year,
The hotel is a little dated but comfy enough for the star rating The food is the same as most places, you get what you pay for and you won't go hungry,
The entertain last year was very poor this time Mickey who does the entertainment was brilliant very entertaining and got the crowd involved, definitely an improvement on last year.
As others have written wasn’t sure what to expect, but, we had a thoroughly enjoyable week. We opted for a 1 bed bungalow with sea view, the accommodation was spacious and clean, shower was amazing. It was lovely having your own private terrace where you could enjoy the view and spend time with feathered friends!
Drink options were good, hot drinks, soft drinks and beer you could self serve.
The biggest surprise was the safety deposit box only €10 euro deposit which was refunded. So use to paying per night.
We didn’t really eat much at the hotel, there was always something you could eat and plenty of variety. We did try breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar snacks. It was great having the option to eat outside as well. That suited us.
Location was great, some bars and restaurants as well as supermarket only 2 minutes walk. Value for money, it was worth it.
Looking at coming back next year due to location and what was around us.
Probably the worst holiday experience ever! We had high expectations going back to Fuerteventura after over 20 years, but were hugely disappointed with this club. From noisy air conditioning to shoddy repairs, broken tiles everywhere and cold food, we have now had enough of foreign holidays. The hassle in the airports and the disappointment from believing the hype on the websites has turned us off completely. It's a shame that I can't upload videos that I took of endless streams of rubbish and handrails that were dangerous and hadn't seen a coat of paint for decades. This is one to avoid!
