Beautiful grounds, lovely rooms (but balconies and views are a bit rubbish if lower ground)

Some amazing points: beautiful grounds, lots of streams and beautiful foliage. The pools and palm trees are an oasis. Lots of loungers and Bali beds...

The kids pool was wonderful and the other pools are fab (the unheated one is cold but it was early May!). The beach outside is lovely and a great little pier to walk down as well. Staff were mostly delightful and very helpful. The other holidayers were a lovely mix do families and couples, which created a very nice atmosphere.

Some bad points: our room on the lower ground was very very dark and the sun never hit it. We just looked out on a tree which blocked any view and was a bit claustrophobic. Probably should have asked to move!

The corridors are dark and definitely reminded me of Marriott’s I go to for conferences not holidays. The buffet was good but not good for be vegetarians looking for main courses and no concept of keeping meat tools delegate from vegetable ones. Getting a coffee in the morning was a bit hit and miss and the inside of the restaurant was a little tired and old fashioned. The patio is delightful though!

There are planes flying very low overhead, especially mornings and late afternoon.

It was very very windy whilst we were there (best lace to shelter was bottom end by kids pool). Playground is very basic and kids club was small. Apart for a kids pool disco at 4pm (which was the same every day) there was little for kids to do. This could have been as we were outside of season but was tricky to find anything for kid from 5pm. Luckily our kids are like fish and the lovely pools kept them busy. The games rooom really really needs modernisation!!

I don’t drink alcohol and Tom had noted that which was great, but only one alcohol free beer and one vocation in the menu. But if you ask kist cocktails will be made A free without any drama from the staff.

So we loved our holiday there but a better room ( not so dark, better vegetarian options and less wind would have made it five star (I know the hotel can’t help the wind but want to mention it for transparency and to help others considering staying). A more modern and inviting games room would be such an improvement.

Review by Lesley H Skipton, United Kingdom

We arrived Easter Friday and were welcomed by Migul.Shown to our amazing beach view room, i can highley reccomend room 406 as you can see in the picture was breathtaking! The rooms are well cleaned daily. My favourite part of the hotel is the Lobby bar.Wow these guys are so welcoming i have to try and name them Willy💙Neliu Pablo Santi and Zubair made the end of my evening just perfect. The singers are all superb especially the Il Divo act🥰 Tom welcomed us daily for the magnificant breakfast buffet, from day 1 he knew who we were and our room number he is a true asset to the hotel! We had a tiny problem on the first night and Andrew spoke to customer service and was very pleased with the outcome, honestly there was nothing more we needed.Have a walk out of the beach gates to the left is a beautiful italian and an amazing spanish local restaurante! Fantastic Hotel and staff

What a great experience at the Sheraton. We are currently 5 days in to a 2 week vacation. We normally go to Florida or Dubai at this time of year, however with Covid restrictions we decided to change from Hilton to Sheraton and shorter travel...

A great decision, we are half board in sea view room. The staff here are top of their game, special mention to Tom he runs reception, this guy is exceptional, also mention to Carlos from Columbia a very nice and funny guy. Well done Sheraton, we are coming back later this year.

Perfect Family Vacation

We travelled to the Sheraton in the knowledge that it was a hotel we had visited and enjoyed previously, as a couple, however, this time we had our family with us.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and everyone went out of their way to make our stay a positive one. As we arrived fairly late in the evening with two young children, the desk staff, ensured that we were directed to the buffet restaurant, ensuring that we got something to eat, whilst they ensured that our cases were delivered to our respective rooms, which was very welcome. Next morning, we went to breakfast and the staff were again friendly and attentive, especially with the children, which they loved. There is a very good kids club on site and the children took full advantage on a daily basis, with sessions in the morning and afternoon, with a kids disco at 7.30 in the evening, where prizes were given out for the days activities, which the children loved and no one was left out. Special mention to the leader of the animation team Alec, who our grandson really enjoyed being around, but the rest of the team were brilliant too, a real credit to the hotel...

The hotel has 4 outside pools, 1 Childs pool (heated) 2 freshwater (heated) and 1 saltwater pool at normal temperature, plus there is an indoor pool in the spa, for those who require that. Our grandchildren absolutely loved the pools. We ate at the buffet restaurant, as it suits family meals, with the children being able to choose and select their own food. Everything was plentiful, with a nice selection and staff were always available, with everything kept in an immaculate manner. During the day, we ate at the outside cafe, where once again, nothing seemed too much trouble and the children in particular had a wonderful rapport with the female staff, learning just a little bit of Spanish during the week. The rooms were spacious, well maintained and cleaned every day, by courteous staff. The piano bar is a nice place to chill out during the day and in the evening, with different artists every night adding to the ambience. There is also a show every night, straight after the kids disco, which the children found very enjoyable, rounding off, what were very busy and tiring days for them and we all slept very well, as the beds are very comfy. The hotel has nice beaches close by, with access via a security gate and there is a walk that provides access to a nearby marina and other areas. Overall the holiday was totally enjoyable, in a hotel where the staff went the extra mile everywhere and the family have asked if we can go back again - which says it all really.

Great location and facilities, pleasing terracotta buildings and grounds. room for some service improvements.

Review by Phil J Cheshire, United Kingdom

Relaxing 1 week stay at this ideal resort. Within walking distance of local harbour, shopping centre and other amenities. Located across the promenade from 2 sandy sheltered beaches...

Good facilities including accessible swimming pools, at least 1 heated. No apparent poolside service and service in main bar slow at times. Ran out of some ingredients and drinks during stay. Hotel is spotlessly clean with excellent food and choice available in the restaurants. Restaurant service good with particular, shout out to Melanie (attentive, pleasant and professional). Nice size junior suite with large comfortable bed and sea view from balcony. Mini-bar/fridge not working during stay, promptly replaced. Some tired looking furniture and fittings. Safe environment for both singles and families.
