Wonderful holiday at Bull Dorado . From arrival with lovely friendly night manager to check out . Enjoyed everything about my holiday , the location is great a beautiful hotel by the sea . I had a sea view room on 5 th floor . Lovely big room , comfy bed , Dunlop get on balcony , great shower . The food was very good every mealtime a lovely selection of dishes , enjoyed my meals , Spent a lot of time at the pool side , did put my towel down early to secure my spot . Hotel was busy . Pool bar was great with help yourself drinks and some food like pizza and chips , other food they made for you . Entertainment every night was very good . There is a spa and that was great too . Would recommend this hotel highly and would love to return . Special mention to the cleaning lady on my floor , an older lady she was super friendly and did such a great job making the room tidy and clean . Hope she gets the praise she deserves on floor 5.
Here now as a family of 10. Hotel is nice and clean rooms are huge. Food at the pool bar is excellent
A few areas could be improved eg several “reserved” sunbeds for people who use the for around an hour a day. Very limited entertainment and main restaurant food is mediocre at best.
Lovely family break away at the Bull Dorado. We arrived late, check in was easy and they had left food and drinks out in the restaurant.
Room: The room was huge, with a separate sleeping and living area. There is a small kitchenette with kettle…the cups and plates were in a locked cupboard that the maid opened for us, we spent a day being confused by this! There is also a large fridge and decent size balcony with stunning views.
Facilities: no rush for sunbeds in June, but one side is shaded until midday. Pool is large enough and the spa area is excellent.
Entertainment: seemed okay, kids seemed to like it but not really our thing so can’t comment, we prefer to play board games outdoors, the show bar did get very hot!
Food and drink: The food in the restaurant is fine fairly run of the mill AI, but always something to eat. The pool bar food in the day was excellent, the steak on hot stone is not to be missed! We really liked the drink system other than spirits it is all help yourself which meant no queue, and the pool bar stays open until late at night which we really enjoyed as we sat outside there a lot, there is also another bar open in the evening at the back of reception with stunning views and different entertainment, singers rather than shows.
Cleanliness: the cleaning team work very hard. I had gone prepared with my own medical strength sanitizer due to previous reviews but whatever was there it doesn’t seem to be now, none of us were ill even with a 9 month old touching everything in sight!
There is not loads to do in the area but there are a few bars and restaurants a very short walk away. We only went for 7 nights so fine for us, if you want a lively night out Puerto Rico is only about a 10 euro taxi ride.
All in all a great holiday and I’d happily go back.
Pros: Location was great, beaches nearby were lovely, good bus routes Clean communal areas and rooms Spa and gym were great and lots of facilities included in price including salt room, plunge pools, salt pool, sauna
Cons: Limited food for vegetarian or vegans No accommodating for dietary requirements or allergies Kids club and play area really run down and much smaller than pictured Floors in all areas were a safety risk and extremely slippery even when dry
