- TUI BLUE Suite Princess Adults Only

This extensive hotel complex boasts a stunning mountainside setting, on the island of Gran Canaria. Surrounded by the beauty and splendour of the Taurito Valley, this complex is sure to complex. The beach is situated just a short distance away. The charming town of Puerto de Mogan can be found just 4 km from the hotel. This hotel comprises beautifully-designed guest rooms, which respect the serenity of the area, with refreshing tones and a tranquil ambiance. The complex features wonderful restaurants, as well as a number of bars, cafes and shops. A nightclub is also available on site. Guests are invited to enjoy the many leisure facilities that the complex has to offer.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Just returned from an 11 night stay and overall was pleased the rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard always able to find food for breakfast and dinner sometimes struggled at lunch especially later in the afternoon (maybe it would be a good idea to cover sandwiches stop them drying out and curling up) and tell people what is at the cooking stn and start it when restaurant opens.Entertainment team nowhere near as good as last year (except Simon) didn't really engage with guests and it can sometimes be very noisy late at night but depends on who is staying at the time so can't blame hotel I think I would rate this more like a 4star rather than a 5star hotel needs to improve Aircon in rooms and public areas TUI reps onsite daily and very helpful
Retired now for 22 years. I found my second home in TUI blue suite Princess. 2.5 years already I enjoy the excellent service , experienced personel, good food, spacy 42 square meters overlooking the sea, sunny weather all year long and last but not least no need to travel to the far Punta Cana in the winter. Five times a year I come to Taurito.
Stayed here for 2 weeks and absolutely loved it we could have stayed longer we enjoyed it that much. If you’re looking to relax and chill out then this place ticks all the boxes. We stayed in room 0206 I think which is just past the pool down the steps and is on the quiet side with fantastic views over the beach and sea and the room was cleaned every day. All the staff were fantastic always friendly and happy to help. The food was good you could always find something to eat make sure you book a meal at the Culinarium you get 1 free meal per stay. I wouldn’t bother going premium we spoke to a few people who did and said it’s not worth it. One of the big things is you can’t reserve a Sunbed before 10am unless you are physically on it but there’s plenty of sunbeds never struggled to get one. We got a taxi from the airport cost us £75 Euros the Tui rep said it was 1 hour 40 minutes on the coach but we did get the coach back and it was ok. If you want to get involved in some stuff the animation team walk around telling you what’s on but downythe Tui blue app it tell you everything you need to know about the hotel.
We stayed at The Tui blue suite princess for 7 days 8th to 15th August 2026. The we being my extended family of 9 adults. A month or so before arrival I took the option to book and select our 4 rooms. via the Tui app. It seemed a great idea keeping our family together. We booked rooms 7010- 7009 -7008-7007 at a total cost of 280 euros to be paid at hotel reception on arrival. My room selection was acknowledged by the hotel, who said we will do everything we can to satisfy your request & hope we can. On arrival at reception i was told the hotel could not satisfy my booking, and had only rooms 7010 & 7009 together. Other family members were given rooms on floor 4. I was then asked to pay for rooms 7010 & 7009. I refused because my booking had not been honoured by the hotel. The unhelpful & not very polite reception wouldn't hand over any keys to rooms unless I paid for the two rooms ..£127. The argument lasted half an hour so reluctantly I paid. This spoilt the first few days of our holiday until my family agreed to put the nastiness of our arrival behind us and move on. Not even complain to the Tui rep as not to bring it all up again. Will any of my family visit this hotel again definitely no, will we book holidays with Tui again well that may depend on their response to this review, but currently no.
Positives and negatives. Firstly the location is a little challenging if you have mobility issues there are steps and ramp to exit the hotel to the small beach and town, but only if mobile. Inside the hotel everything is accessible and really good if you have mobility issues. There are a few shops in the hotel at comparable prices to the shops outside. The bus stop is about 8mins walk along a straight road. The views from the hotel are stunning and all rooms have sea view. The rooms are large and have some upgrades needed but are clean and have a fridge, TV lots of space and sunbeds on balcony. The air-conditioning in the rooms is not great with some being too hot. Reported it to the hotel they tried but it's old and in need of upgrade so cannot be fixed to the right standard. The rooms are quiet and you do not hear other guests. Blackout curtains are great as well. Cleaners come daily. The pool area is lovely and the no reserving sunbeds is welcome. The entertainment team from TUI are great and you can enjoy evening entertainment as well. Unfortunately the piano bar was too hot to sit in. I felt sorry for the singer. No fans or air con in August! The food was good and we all managed to find something we enjoyed. Unfortunately the dining room was not air-conditioned so a few of my family could not manage eating in there every night. We ate outside at lunch which is ironically cooler than the inside restaurant for evening meal under shade with a breeze. Other people got by with table fans at their evening meal. The hotel really needs to sort this out for July and August. We took the hotel provided free bus to Puerto Mogan which is a nice touch. Overall we loved the food, room decor and size, entertainment, pool but could not deal with the hot rooms and hot dining room and piano bar. If this is sorted we could return or perhaps in November. It is such a shame because apart from air con it was lovely. I appreciate it is August but all hotels I have worked in or stayed at have air conditioning on in common areas at the hottest time of the year it's not unreasonable for a 4 star hotel to provide this.
