Beautiful Hotel in an amazing location

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and is positioned on a cliff edge. The pool area's are great and its s short walk to the main strip. Went all-inclusive which was great...

The only discrepancy I have is the food could be hotter.

Wonderful stay in this lovely hotel!

We stayed half board for 7 nights and absolutely loved it.

The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and tidy everywhere. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and all spoke excellent english...

The pools are both fantastic, the areas around them are really well looked after, as are all of the beautiful grounds.

Our room was huge, with the biggest and most comfortable bed ive ever seen! Theres a really comfortable seating area, a large wardrobe and a useful shelf / mini fridge unit. The bathroom is big with double sinks and a powerful shower that gushed endless hot water. The balcony is ideal for two people to sit out, and the view over the ocean and further along the coast to both sides was spectacular, especially as sunset!

Wifi worked really well everywhere we went in the hotel, even around the pool area.

The food in the buffet restaurant was very nice and varied every night. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, which is especially important for me as i cant eat gluten. All of the staff i spoke to were knowledgeable and couldnt have been more helpful.

Over all we cannot praise the hotel highly enough. We loved it here and are already planning our return trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday!

Really Disappointed this time..

Review by absolutefact Dundalk, Ireland

We stayed here in December, was a great week all round so once home I booked to return on April 24th for a week, we arrived at 9.45 so restaurant was finishing up, nothing was offered to us, we had been travelling for 12 hours so we ended up going out to eat. Our room was OK however housekeeping changed our sheets twice only, yes they came into the room but only replaced towels, the sheets were the same and I know this as I checked one corner which had spots of blood on it (not mine), having worked in hospitality I know what goes on regarding changing bed linen. The Restaurant offerings were really poor, most of the roast meats were dry even in the self serve hot dishes, little or no variety, cold, repetitive and boring. I found out that the hotel was closing for renovations for 6 weeks (on check out) if I had known this I would not have booked for that week, I feel that we got the dregs of everything due to them closing, I feel we did not get value for our money therefore we won't be returning, On a positive note the staff are amazing, especially in the Restaurant...

Lovely base for exploring the North of Tenerife

Review by AMLF1981 London, United Kingdom

We were a family of 4 and a family of 3 travellign together (3 boys aged 8-11) and had a brilliant time, in next-door rooms. Initially corridors seemed a bit dated as others have commented but there is nothing wrong with them, the room was large and well equipped, hotel overall was very clean and comfortable, staff were lovely, food much better than expected having read other reviews, and we actually loved the sound of the sea, the dramatic location and views and it had everything we needed. Kids loved the warm pool and table tennis, I loved having plenty of space in the unheated large pool to swim properly...

The stir-fry chefs were also a huge hit with the kids. Huge range of choice for food (all buffet in one restaurant) and especially breakfasts. Much more variety for vegetarians than expected but also lots of meat and fish on offer. Nice pool bar. Less keen on the evening bar... lights too bright to encourage any dancing so a bit static but quite funny/fun acts. Highly recommend a trip to the botanical gardens which are very nearby and also really liked Puerto de la Cruz. There are different ways to walk into the town and it's prettier than some of the resorts in the South. Also recommend lovely coastal walk from there going west via La Romantica 1 &2 to Mirador San Pedro (or, get the bus there and walk from there as the first part of the coastal path from Punto Bravo was closed) ... absolutely stunning scenery (quite steep and high at points along cliffs so not for everyone) and interesting history. These were good things to do when the weather was not very hot.

Some final tips: If you arrive late in eve ask clearly what the plan is re food! We arrived around 9.30 in the evening and had missed dinner. We were told we could have food in our room later after not hearing anything more managed to blag some, only for full platters of cold meats and salad fto turn up in our rooms at 11.30pm! This was sadly wasted. A final warning to be very careful of children on the balconies - one of ours terrified us all when we realised he had managed to squeeze through between the two rooms in the gap between the wall and the balcony panels- it was a very long way up and the panels are not the strongest.
