I spent 3 weeks in total in this hotel. It must be one of the best value for money hotels in Europe. Fortunately during my 2nd visit here (August 21) COVID restrictions were relaxed and we were allowed to use buffet breakfasts and dinners which was way better compared to served ones...
Rooms are spacious with huge beds which are really comfortable. If you want to use minibar it is extra 3EUR/day charge. No aircon in rooms but unless it gets really hot like 30C+ it is not an issue. Huge pool with sufficient amount of sunloungers. It was never an issue to get a free lounger with umbrella. Staff very professional with little English. Food was excellent. I was really happy with my stay and certainly would return back.
Issues - to find a free parking space on a street is an issue and it may take a while to find a free parking space in the streets nearby the hotel. Wifi is not the fastest and reliable.
very clean
well maintained
in walking distance to the beach playa jardin (5 min)
good breakfast buffet and you can get a picknick bag if you have to leave before breakfast time
walking distance to the city centre (5 min)
nice pool
the hotel has newly renovated rooms which are shown on the pictures and older rooms which are not renovated (yet?). We got an old room which was not expected. But nevertheless it was very clean and tidy...
We had a studio on the first floor towards a wall/garden with terass. Rather have a balcony. Hotel very charming, nice building's and greenery...
Big pool unfortunately ice cold water, why?You don't get pool towels.. Room clean and basic kitchenette. Located close to everything. Tired staff..
Quite modern, clean and well-maintained hotel. Swimming pool with sea water is a big advantage. Nice location, in a calm street, close to a beach (Playa Jardin but I could not swim there due to waves), a few blocks from a bus station and streets with restaurants. Good reception staff, gave useful tips and helped book a PCR test. However, strange room cleaning staff. Why put my T-shirt in a shape of a bow tie but keep a rubbish bin full of used masks? Why deliberately rearrange my toiletries but not replace an empty shower gel? Had a room with swimming pool and sea view (2nd floor facing North)...
Really nice view, although as it's facing North, no sunshine and beach towels stayed wet... Tasty breakfast, with set menus due to covid but still three good options.
This is a wonderful hotel. I cannot say enough good things about it. It has a wonderful salt-water swimming pool which is unfortunately very cold, but nice to look at...
The grounds are nicely landscaped, and well looked after. The staff is very friendly, and the guests are mostly quiet, german speaking retirees. Best of all the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the central bus station, many restaurants, as well as a major supermarket. Some rooms have a very small kitchenette, which is handy for having lunch. The hotel breakfast is very reasonable, and there is lots of choice. The beds are very comfortable. I highly recommend this small hotel for those looking for a peaceful place to stay near playa jardin.
