How this hotel earned 5 stars is a complete mystery to me. I will try to remain as impartial as possible. Starting with the rooms: the rooms are full of flaws. Rust, mold, and improperly laid tiles are lazily covered up with a sloppy coat of paint. The bathroom door is a sliding door with no handle or lock. Anyone can walk in at any time, even if someone is inside. Our shower drain was also clogged one day, though this was fixed after we reported it. The Wi-Fi is terrible. Now for the interior premises: The decor is very monotonous and doesn't feel aesthetically welcoming. The materials used for the walls and furniture are cheap and show very noticeable defects. The ventilation leaves a lot to be desired; it often gets way too hot indoors. There is a gym, but it is small and also poorly ventilated. The "game room" is a huge room with only two pathetic (paid) pool tables and a foosball table (free). Why is everything free except for the pool tables? The restrooms are partially dirty and use motion-sensor lighting: the light flickers very often, leaving you to try and pee in the dark. The food is okay at best. Most of the time, it falls far below expectations. Parts of our breakfast actually had mold on them. There is a "show area" where various "impressive" animal parts are put on display. However, my appetite for dinner was completely ruined when I had to look at half and whole cooked beef hearts and brains in this area. For those unfortunate enough to miss the meal times, there is no 24/7 service. As one of those unfortunate people, I had to resort to the patisserie and go hungry for 3 hours until 7 PM. The outdoor grounds are also simply… bad. There is genuinely nothing to do for small children up to teenagers. The pool is small, warm, and overcrowded. The path to the beach is long (though there are small shuttles that run back and forth to take you there). The beach itself is full of stones; walking on the sand and in the water is not only annoying, but it actually hurts. Waves can easily give you a dangerous push, causing you to hit rocks and injure yourself. The water is warm, doesn't get deep, and is unclean. The designated swimming area is relatively small and lacks a pier, making you envy the neighboring hotels with theirs. Furthermore, we found several sharp objects in the water, such as broken bottles and fishing hooks, which you could easily step on. There are a few activities hosted here, which are okay. Sometimes, however, they don't stick to the promised schedules. Starting at 10 AM, the first activity kicks off with full noise; loud music and shouting make it impossible to sleep in. Lastly, the staff—which was actually good. The housekeepers in particular were extremely friendly, as were the waiters, etc. However, we left a bad review on our third day. The following day, we were persistently pressured by a dishwasher (not the manager, a dishwasher!) to delete the review. Freedom of speech is clearly not welcome here. That kind of behavior can best be described as "shady." Unfortunately, I don't have much good left to say. Take my advice: Do not come here!

Nice hotel, and really friendly staff. Everything clean. Nice drinks.

But.... Very cold unheated pool. Buffet had a very big variety, but very bland food.
