Set amongst 30 acres of lush greenery with a stunning lagoon, here is one of the most memorable holiday locations on the island. An ecological nature reserve and a traditional fishing village are also near enough to visit and widen the variety of those treasured holiday experiences.

Room service and laundry service are also available on request at a small fee for your comfort and convenience.

Once you've checked into your room at Club Palm Bay, you'll step out onto your balcony or private terrace. Now is the perfect chance to take a moment and savour the sea air, the swaying palm trees and the clear skies.

Head outside and you find a truly impressive clear blue swimming pool. There's a separate pool for children too. For a cool swim and the chance to soak up some rays, you can also head out to the secluded beach where you'll find golden sands and stunning views across the Indian Ocean.

After a satisfying meal in one of the Club Palm Bay's two restaurants, why not find a comfortable corner to watch the sun go down? Or perhaps you'd prefer to enjoy a drink at the pool bar followed by the disco. There's evening entertainment on offer too.

And tomorrow? How about a boat trip? Or fishing? Or perhaps volleyball or tennis or a round of pitch and putt. We'll leave the choice up to you.... It's all within your reach at Club Palm Bay.

Commendable Service and Wonderful Stay

Club Palm Bay Hotel is one of the best hotel I have visited. They provide exceptional service from beginin to end. Bell staff was excellent and they made everything go smoothly when we arrived and departed...

Reception staff were also very heartiest and they were extremely accommodating. We got to room super early and we didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The room was clean and very comfortable. Further, view (Lagoon) of the room was amazing and inspiring. And they provide delicious and excellent quality food. Also buffet consisted with vast variety of food items. Each and every memeber of Club Palm Bay staff that we met was very friendly and amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone.

This is an Amazing hotel, but do not visit now if you are Sri Lankan.

Review by prashan3253 London, United Kingdom

This is an Amazing hotel, very peaceful surroundings...but not the best time for Srilankans to visit.

The hotel caters for quarantine guests as well as local Srilankan guests. At public places like the dinner area / pool area everyone is able to mingle together which means it's not the safest hotel to be if you are local...

Food buffet was great with a lovely spread of tasty food. Nice spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Lovely walk in rain shower with all the amenities provided. Best are the staff, they were all very friendly...cleaning staff, reception staff, restaurant staff...everyone.

However the hotel had about 100 guests who were in quarantine. Guests of Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi/Afghani origin who looked like they were returnees from the middle east. My idea of a peaceful holiday was ruined by these guests. Even though the hotel cannot be blamed fully for the unruly behaviour of some of these guests, the hotel management needs to mandate strict safety protocols.

For example, we saw quarantined guests using the swimming pool with trousers and tshirts. No proper swimming wear was mandated by the hotel management. They consumed alcohol around the pool, which again should be prohibited.

Another example, these guests wore sarongs and slippers to the dinner area and were spitting red betel around the restaurant. No proper dress code was mandated by the hotel. The management should requests the guests to atleast wear smart casual dress code as restaurant etiquette.

While the hotel is amazing to visit, this is not the right time to go if you are Srilankan. Your idea of  a peaceful holiday will be ruined by the other guests.
