The Isola Di Cocco translates as the Island of Coconuts. And sure enough, the resort is covered with coconut trees. It gives a wonderfully green, leafy quality and ensures that nature never feels at arm's length when you're exploring Kerala. The long fronds also give plenty of dappled shade too.  After your beach stay or following your arrival into Kerala you will be met and transferred to Alleppey to board an authentic Keralan houseboat, journeying through the scenic backwaters, riverside villages and breath-taking scenery. Stay overnight on the houseboat.

Disembarking your houseboat after breakfast, your tour continues with a drive through the spectacular countryside arriving at the Thekkady Hill Station, home to a stunning wildlife sanctuary. Stay overnight at Aranya Nivas or similar.

After an early morning boat ride on Periyar Lake, proceed to Cochin for a city tour, taking in the Mattanchery Dutch Palace, St Francis Church and the Chinese Fishing Nets among other sights. Stay overnight at the Holiday Inn or similar.

Depart after breakfast for your return flight to the UK or on to your chosen beach hotel.
