Using the spa facilities is a highlight for guests with plenty of enriching therapies to choose from. You can also benefit from yoga or enjoy one of the traditional performances to gain an insight into the local culture.
The five star facilities at the Niraamaya Retreats, Surya Samudra include a choice of two restaurants as well as a bar, a library and a laundry service. There's also a picture-perfect pool surrounded by palm trees where you can relax in the sunshine. The beach is also particularly beautiful, whether you opt for a cooling swim or perhaps an evening stroll as the sun goes down.
When it's time to retire to bed, your accommodation is the perfect fit with the surroundings and ambiance of this glorious resort. Each of the Heritage Classic Cottages are elegantly furnished and enjoy high ceilings and a sense of space.
All rooms are air conditioned and have their own sit-out veranda along with a king size four poster bed, LCD TV, telephone, hairdryer, mini-bar (at a fee), tea/coffee making facilities, Wi-Fi and even cotton organic bathrobes and comfy slippers.

An Amazing and Memorable Stay at Niraamaya Wellness Retreats, Kovalam
My wife and I had an absolutely amazing time at Niraamaya Wellness Retreats in Kovalam, Kerala. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome, cared for and truly looked after. The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful. Although there is a new port being developed on one side of the resort, this did not take away from the wonderful experience we had during our stay. The wellness treatments were absolutely wonderful. We had the pleasure of being treated by Hina and Sham, and we also had consultations with Dr. Lekhshmi both before and during our stay. All three were incredibly caring, polite, positive and professional. Their warmth and genuine concern made the treatments and our overall wellness experience even more special. The choice and quality of food was also excellent, with plenty of variety and everything we tasted being delicious. The restaurant hospitality team — Branchit, Pooja, Sherry and Swami — were exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their friendly and attentive service made every meal a pleasure. There were also some particularly memorable personal touches. I celebrated my birthday during our stay, and the team organised a lovely cake-cutting celebration for me. On our final meal, they surprised us with a wonderful Bon Voyage cake, which was such a thoughtful way to end our stay. We also had the opportunity to take part in a one-hour cooking masterclass with the chef Rudresh and two team members ( sorry we can’t recall their names ) It was great fun and another experience that added to the many happy memories we created. Our time at Niraamaya was so much more than simply a holiday. It was a time to relax, recharge, enjoy wonderful treatments and food, and experience genuine Kerala hospitality. The place was amazing with good beach views and clean rooms. It’s fully immersed in nature with greenery all over. The restaurant was amazing and food was getting restocked almost immediately. The room service was mostly on time barring a couple of times in my 4 days stay. The staff were super accommodating and were very helpful and always pleasant with all of us. All in all excellent experience (except for the two lizards in my room 😬)
All in All, everything, atmosphere, aura, calmness, entertainment, food, caring, hospitality.
