The Star of Our Stay: Ciara Hannon

A heartfelt thank you goes to the spectacular Front Office and Guest Relations Manager, Ciara Hannon. From our greeting Ciara made us feel remarkably welcome and VIP. She is the epitome of the Mandarin Oriental brand ambassadorship. Ciara went entirely Throughout our week Ciara meticulously organised thoughtful little surprises that transformed our holiday into a legendary milestone celebration. Her profound attention to detail ,elite professionalism and warm charm completely defined our 6-star experience.

The Rooms, Grounds and Facilities

Our room was an immaculate, sprawling featuring elegant Arabian decor, bespoke luxury finishes and views overlooking the dazzling Persian Gulf. The palace grounds are breathtakingly vast. The resort’s beautifully synchronised club buggy service ensures you can glide effortlessly around the property. We spent our days relaxing along the 1.3km white-sand beach and enjoying the temperature-controlled infinity pools.

A Culinary Paradise

The dining options at the palace are world-class. The legendary breakfast buffet and à la carte menu at Vendôme were magnificent offering a delicious spread. We also enjoyed dinners at the award-winning Hakkasan and Talea by Antonio Guida. A special shoutout goes to the team at the Strawfire restaurant; do not leave without trying their incredible signature a5 wagyu—it is spectacular!

Everything about Emirates Palace—from the Swarovski crystal chandeliers to the flawless personalised service led by stars like Ciara—proves why it is a global benchmark, for luxury hospitality. Despite the scorching heat ( that was extinguished by our relaxation in the spa and pools) and coming from the best hotels in Dubai on the Palm , this has to be the best stay in the UAE 🇦🇪.We are officially FANS and cannot wait to return to our favourite palace!

We have recently returned from a truly magical two-week stay at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. This is a hotel we had wanted to visit for a long time, and it absolutely did not disappoint.

From the moment we arrived, the hotel completely blew us away. It is incredibly grand and luxurious and, in our opinion, feels like it goes beyond the usual five-star experience. Our Panoramic Suite was simply spectacular — extremely spacious, with a huge balcony and amazing views. I can honestly say it was the best suite we have ever stayed in.

The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone was so warm, attentive and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, but there were two members of staff in particular who made our holiday truly seamless and memorable.

Hipolito at Episodes went above and beyond for us. He remembered the little things we liked and was incredibly accommodating, even tweaking things to suit our very fussy son. After two weeks, he genuinely felt like a friend. On our final evening, he surprised us with a beautiful chocolate cake and a lovely goody bag for our son, which was such a thoughtful and touching gesture.

Kanisha from the pool team was equally wonderful. He was so attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. We genuinely didn’t have to lift a finger and felt incredibly well looked after whenever he was around.

I can honestly say this was one of the best holidays we have ever had. Emirates Palace is somewhere very special, and we would like to thank every single member of the team for making us feel so valued and for creating memories that we will never forget.

We absolutely hope to return one day. ❤️
