I stay at this hotel on a fairly regular basis. The location is conveniently placed to reach downtown (20 mins), the airport (20 mins), or the areas of Yas Island, Saadiyat, or Reem Island - again all 20 mins away. It is a quiet location with Khalifa park nearby for a pleasant evening walk. Accommodation and amenities (gym, restaurants, food & coffee shop) are all of a great standard. But what sets it apart are the staff ……
From the moment of check-in, the staff are there to assist. The impeccably suited manager Ashok has instilled a real sense of customer service at a personal level. He really leads from the top.
Clearly there are many staff within the hotel, and of course I can only mention those who dealt with me directly ……
Babu, Ayoub, Mohammed - Lobby services. Always friendly and willing to assist with anything 😊
Katie & Araf - Check-in. Extraordinary recall of names and attention to detail. Real professionals with no fuss 🤩
George - Security. The friendliest greeting north of Uganda 😎
John, David, Fefe - Ginger restaurant. Always ready with a warm morning greeting, and after 2 days they had already memorised that I drank tea at breakfast time with cold milk on the side 😉
Michael - Chef. Absolute legend. Even at the busiest times he is never flustered, going out of his way to prepare breakfast eggs exactly the way I like them 😃
Josephine & Sarah - Lounge. Consistently discreet and attentive, quietly taking care of guest needs 😇
Kadhir - Room service & cleaning. Unobtrusive, and always respecting my rather unusual working hours. Room was always left clean, tidy & fresh 😉
To all of the above, and those I haven’t mentioned by name, but who nevertheless will have played their part in making my stay consistently pleasant and enjoyable, a BIG thank you!
We really enjoyed the overall hospitality and service we received from the staff. We were especially impressed by how Babu welcomed us and how the receptionist attentively handled all our needs. The room was excellent. One thing I always look forward to is the cleanliness of the room and the quality and availability of the toiletries, which exceeded my expectations. We also loved the breakfast buffet. We were glad to meet our fellow Filipino, Tonie, who assisted us during breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed. Her warm and attentive service made our breakfast experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the excellent service from the entire team.
Sujan is an outstanding housekeeper — reliable, thorough, and always attentive to detail. Our space is consistently spotless, and Sujan takes real pride in the work. Highly recommend!
