This hotel and its staff is absolutely amazing. We stayed there for 10 nights and couldn’t fault anything. The hotel truly deserves its 5 star status and you feel this the moment you are arriving up the entrance ramp. The hotel is immaculately clean and food at the main all inclusive restaurant was top class. So much choice and lovely favours throughout. Staff excellent.
The 2 specialty restaurants on the resort are of a high standard both food and staff and well worth a visit. 
The 2 Bar staff from Sri Lanka in NoHo and Amarbar were absolutely amazing a credit to the resort. 
We truly had a fantastic stay and stayed in the Club Room which I would highly recommend. 10/10 for all staff in the Club Lounge.
Last of all a big thank you to Henry - Front Office Manager. His customer service was exemplary.
You have a great team Cameron.
See you all again.

We have just returned from a week here staying in a superb 1 Bedroom Sea View Villa number 31 we did our research and we were not disappointed with the hotel,it offered for the most relaxing week.
The staff from the moment you arrive are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay a memorable one.
Excellent food on offer at all restaurants but especially in Saffar with an amazing selection of delicious food at breakfast and dinner The Noho restaurant also offered  great steaks and a lovely setting.
A big shout out to Chef Shibin,Waiter Moses  And waitress Juni for making our trip memorable.
Spotlessly clean great private beach and large swimming pools.
Yes there is construction next door in a big development but it didn’t affect our stay at all the noise is very low.
We will definitely return hopefully next year to this wonderful well run hotel.

Wonderful Relaxing Week

This is now our 5th visit to the Intercontinental and it never fails to deliver. The service, facilities and more importantly the staff really make this a top class hotel. We have stayed in many hotels in Dubai/Abu Dhabi over the last 15 years but this really does come out on top for us hence us constantly returning. Already looking forward to Oct 2026!

5 star hotel

i had a night at this hotel and it was NOT PLEASANT at all,

- at the arrival many people rush and ask different questions and confuse me,
the check it was very slow, and your staff keep saying sorry with No solution. i Informed you that i was tired and in rush to go for meeting. so, they informed me that my check time cannot be at 2 but 3Pm is the right time. so i left. but after 15 minutes they called me to come back.  So i had to go around the whole RAK because of the big construction in this city which really confused me. Going back to the reception to check it, it took 30 minutes to cheek me in because of the long queue!!!!!

at night, i asked for an extra towel which never came!!!!
in the morning, i asked for few bottles of water which came after 20 minutes while i was taking shower and the bell ring did not stop ringing and disturbing me so i have to stop my shower and opened the door ...all wet i  opened the door which was really bad!!!
so, the stay was not please and i heard the word sorry tens times with NO SOLUTION!!!!
the amenity was poor and few,
the room was far and your staff even wanted to give me cheaper room because my king size room was not ready which is very BAD as i paid high and you wanted to give me cheaper room!!
the rate was too high and not to the value of the services,
the place is overcrowded and i could not work in peace as kids shouting in corridors down in the reception and even in work offices,
i went to th beach and i could not find a towel,

so as you can see i just threw my money for nothing and accordingly, i DONT recommend any person to stay over there because of the bad experience!!
i will share these comments with others and most important i will report this experience to DTCM.

BAD EXPERIENCE from A to Z

During our recent stay at the InterContinental RAK, we had high expectations for the dining experience at Saffar. Unfortunately, one meal didn’t quite meet the mark, but what happened next truly defined our visit.

Avi, the restaurant manager, approached the situation with such warmth and professionalism that we quickly forgot the initial disappointment. He took the time to listen, made us feel genuinely cared for, and turned the moment into something special. His thoughtful gestures and attention to detail reminded us why hospitality matters.

Thanks to Avi, our experience at Saffar became one of the highlights of our trip. We left feeling valued and uplifted, something we’ll remember long after the stay.
