The kids club was amazing! The ladies that worked there, Diana especially would come find us to invite us to do activities with our kids! They even allowed my infant to participate. During a rainy day, they allowed us to come in as a family when no one was there for paining, coloring, snacks and a movie!
The staff was lovely! They waited on us hand and foot. At one point my toddler starting to feel feverish and I had numerous employees check in on her.
They brought us room service relentlessly, even in the pouring rain. Drinks were endless and good. Karokkee, silent party, photographers walking around the entire time with props (even on the days it rained) to offer everyone fun group photos!
I sent room service away for room cleanings every time my kids were napping and they had zero problem coming to flip our rooms the second we asked!
We came for a wedding. Even with construction the wedding was seamless and gorgeous. I've been to 50+ weddings and this was by far the most beautiful, romantic and seamless! They did it in a tikki Ramada with beautiful hanging lights!
I'd come back in a heartbeat! Lots of people had complaints about restaurants being closed, but these people are working relentlessly. They had lots of options. Extra snacks that changed throughout the day in the lobby, preferred bar, the patio bar, world cafe, ect.
Overall beautiful experience. Very much enjoyed whole trip all day long. Perfect for nature loving person. Atmosphere and ambience is top notch. Wild life experience
The food is terrible!!! The only decent restaurant they had was the Asian restaurant and it was only opened 1 day out the week. Couldn't even find anything at the buffet to our liking. Took room service over an hour to come every night. Racoons all over the resort in broad daylight as well as all night. Not much entertainment options. Would not recommend!
Dreams resorts and spa in Tulum is over hyped. The food and drinks are nasty. The have a family of raccoons on the resort. Also have stray cats. You can't even be comfortable by the pool or anywhere without the racoons, iguana popping up. Some of the staff was unfriendly. I got bit by so many mosquitos it's crazy. Also the restaurants don't open up until 6 pm. So you had to order room service and that was a hit or miss. My overall experience was horrible.
My partner and I went here sept 2026, and it’s beautiful and we had a great time. However, food choices throughout the day are quite limited, the stricter dress code for a beach resort was quite infuriating, and limited activities to do throughout the day made it a little boring. I understand half the resort is closed for renovations, but this wasn’t advertised before we booked. The biggest issue we had during our time is the constant and aggressive nagging of marketing. Everywhere you go they are constantly hounding you to hear their sales pitches, buy things, or do things. It’s very pushy and annoying. I’m just trying to enjoy my vacation, I do not want to hear your 90 minute sales pitch over breakfast.
