The Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa boasts an idyllic setting close to several kilometres of white sandy beaches near the tourist centre of Legian. It is a mere 6kms from Ngurah Rai airport.Often referred to as the epitome of classic Balinese style, this complex offers a range of entertainment options to ensure that each stay is memorable. Two stylish restaurants serve guests an array of culinary delights with a mixture of Asian and international cuisines. There is also a cosy lounge bar where guests are invited to sit back and unwind, enjoying renowned Balinese hospitality.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 2 outdoor swimming pools, a water slide and a fitness centre. Additional features at this resort include concierge services, babysitting (surcharge) and gift shops/newsstands.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We loved our time at Bali Mandira. From start to finish the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Jessica on reception was wonderful, we had a small room issue and it was sorted with minimal fuss and great communication. We loved the Indonesian themed night with dancing run by the hilarious Geoffrey! Food is stunning, highly recommend the jumbo prawns, and the drinks are so tasty at such reasonable prices. Great pools and atmosphere around the whole resort! The spa is also a must, staff are so friendly and welcoming I had a 2.5 hour package for a fraction of the price it would be in the UK and the treatments were fantastic. Can’t recommend this place enough, safe, clean and wonderfully friendly.
Beautiful hotel set in beautiful grounds. Lovely big rooms with a unique shower. Close to the beach. Lovely bar areas and amazing staff who again couldn’t do enough for you. Club level extras were a very welcome surprise. Local area a bit too touristy for us, bit too much kiss me quick shops and stalls. Safe area to walk around and plenty of places to eat and drink. Amazing massage parlours in the area at very cheap prices. Everything you could need near by just a bit tacky for us
We saved for this family holiday, but instead of relaxing, we spent much of it complaining, changing rooms and trying to resolve basic problems. Our first room was beside a building site, with noise until around 10pm. Our sick child couldn’t sleep, yet the first alternative offered was only a few doors away from the same site.
After insisting on another move, we were relocated at around 8pm to a room intended for three people: three of us shared one king bed while the fourth slept on a camp bed. We then discovered it was beside Azul nightclub, where loud music continued until around 2am.
The following night, guests next door played loud music until midnight. We had to knock on their door ourselves because our child still couldn’t sleep. The soundproofing was appalling—we could hear conversations and even people using the toilet next door.
The hotel’s facilities are dated and clearly need a complete update, with the condition nowhere near the standard expected for the price.
The staff we dealt with were lovely and professional, but management was impossible to reach. Despite repeatedly being told our concerns had been referred, nobody from management would speak to us.
The compensation was a mediocre buffet lunch and breakfast at Azul, despite breakfast already being included in our booking.
We wasted a significant part of our holiday trying to fix one problem after another. We paid a premium for a special family trip and left frustrated, exhausted and completely let down.
Very expensive, dated, poorly soundproofed, infested with ants, and badly managed when genuine problems arose. We would not return
The Bali Mandira Beach Resort and Spa in Legian has become a family favourite. In July this year we stayed for the 3rd time with my grandchildren. The ammenities, location and staff were outstanding as always. Our reception staff, and particularly Ayu went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make our stay the most enjoyable time. We were upgraded to a private pool room due to the renovations at the time. As we were concerned with the pool having no fence to stop the toddler accessing the pool the hotel created temporary fencing, stopping any fears we had without hesitation. I would highly recommend the Bali Mandira to anyone and thank Ayu and all of the staff for making us feel so welcome.
They had us at waterslides! We had such an incredible five nights at Bali Mandira, our first overseas holiday as a family of five.
The kids spent their days up and down the slides, bombing into the pool and ordering hot chips! Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with options for all of us, including gluten free. The staff were all incredible. Our kids loved returning to our rooms each day to find a new towel animal creation!
The location was perfect, walking distance to great restaurants, shops and the beach. Seminyak and Kuta a stones throw away.
We would love to stay again! Highly recommend for an awesome family holiday!
