Corona Virus Pandemic

Disappointed with Magani Hotel and Spa. The whole world is going through a Virus Pandemic causing entire countries to close their borders to everyone. Airlines to stop flying internationally yet we contact The Magani Hotel and Spa about the 3 rooms we have booked and paid for in October and were advised, 1) we get a credit but lose 1 nights accomodation per room as a penalty or 2) we can have a refund but will be charged a 50% penalty...

I understand under normal circumstances when people just cancel that this is acceptable but when this is well out of our hands and there is nothing we can do to get ourself to Bali in the foreseeable future. Penalising returning customers during a virus Pandemic is Disgusting. We are not even allowed to fly to Bali 🤷‍♂️ pull your heads in Magani, refund our money

well i cant complain about anything. my room was under repair. so i got upgraded to a suite with out door hot tub, it was beautiful...

great breakfast. and loverly pool and bar. location was good close to everything. staff very friendly too.

What a lovely hotel. On arrival we were greeted by such friendly staff with a refresher towel and a very delicious welcome drink. We didn’t have to wait to long before going to our room with plunge pool...

The room was very clean and a great size. The pool area was very nice and such a relaxing atmosphere to chill by the pool. The bed and pillows were so extremely comfortable. Staff are so friendly and couldn’t do enough to please you. The main pool was very nice and another great place to relax and listen to the music while laying on the sun beds. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the ice coffee was to die for. On check out we were able to keep our luggage locked away for a few hours before our flight. This enabled us to continue to enjoy the pool and change and shower in the spa area until we had to leave for the airport! We loved our whole experience at the Magani . We had planned to go back March 2020 but unfortunately due to the coronavirus we had to cancel only to rebook again in the near future. I cannot speak highly enough of the friendliness of the stafff. Cannot wait to visit again. Di Stanley

The Magani Hotel was one of the best Hotels we stayed in. Apart from excellent and extremely clean facilities, our stay was made perfect by the incredibly competent, helpful and tremendously happy and friendly staff. Beginning from the reception, to cleaning, restaurant, bar and security, the staff was always smiling and happy to help us...

They made us feel very welcome. The service was beyond exceptional and professional. We also loved the food and the cocktails at the pool bar. I usually don't write reviews, but this Hotel deserves it. Very much recommended! Best wishes and all the best Caner & Natascha from the room 1002 :)

Disappointed with Service

We were very disappointed that Magani would not grant us a late check-out. While we stayed the Covid-19 travel warnings were heightened. As a woman in my 60s I was somewhat worried about being in public areas...

I requested a late check out. The hotel advised that no this was not possible unless we paid an extra fee.
This is the worst service I have come across during this scary time. Seemed a bit greedy considering the hotel was almost empty.
