This resort is located on a beautiful hillside south of Kata Beach, just 20 minutes' walk from the famous Patong Beach and close to other scenic spots on the hill. The centre of Phuket is a 30-minute drive away. The airport is 50 minutes away. This beach hotel is very spacious and offers a beautiful view over Kata beach and the Andaman Sea. The resort's lush garden provides an especially relaxing atmosphere. The hotel has a total of 144 rooms, a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, a restaurant and public Internet access. Room and laundry services are also available. Guests may also take advantage of the hotel parking facilities. All the rooms are fully-equipped as standard. Further features include a satellite/cable TV, a minibar and a fridge. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool in the hotel grounds.
Dip into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools or enjoy other recreational amenities, which include a fitness centre. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge). Getting to nearby attractions is a breeze with the local area shuttle (surcharge) that operates within 100 metres.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Chanalai resort is a great choice for a stay at Phuket Kata beach. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Location is brilliant only 5-10 minute walk from kata beach and there is good pool options on-site. Breakfast was good and as for value for a couple nights I found it to be about right. This was be my top recommendation for couples and families looking to stay in Kata beach and I would return given the chance! Thanks for a great stay.
Lovely experience with friendly, helpful staff, a good, airconned room and excellent hotel, with a great atmosphere for families, couples and singles. Five minutes to walk to anything, from beach and restaurants to 7-Elevens, shops and massage spots.

I spent a few nights at Chanalai Flora Resort over my birthday and holiday. The hotel made my birthday very special and had a cake and my room set up to add to the celebration. Dul one of the friendly staff members was so lovely carrying our bags to our room and making us feel welcome every morning. We loved the pool and happy hour specials drinking cocktails by the pool. Overall we had an amazing time staying at the resort.
