- Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort Phuket

Set in an elevated position on Patong hill, the luxurious hotel Sea Pearl Villas Phuket enjoys sweeping views over Patong Bay, the Andaman Sea and the lights of the city. Modern buildings with a contemporary Thai interior design are surrounded by more than 6 hectares of lush tropical gardens. An excellent choice to experience vibrant Patong in a luxurious environment.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
My partner and I are staying in Deluxe Suite with private pool for a week. Just arrived last night so far so good. The receptionist welcomed us with orchid bracelet and a cool cleansing wipes it’s refreshing after our long hours of travelling to get here. Staff were all attentive. Happy with the room clean towels clean rooms everything is good.
After we put away our stuff in the hotel room we have decided to go to Alfa restaurant just across the building to our room as it was pouring rain. Toon gave us a warm welcoming greeting with a delightful smile. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu he recommended us the dish Gaeng Kien Waan (green curry beef)said the chef used wagyu short, it’s so delicious. 👌🏽Staff were friendly and looked like a good working environment to everyone has smile on their faces even it’s the end of their shift. Praew is lovely and so as Gun great customer service received from all they are acommodating. We’ll be back here during our stay for sure! Mango sticky rice is the best. The reason why we went to Thailand!
Update: 2nd and 3rd day got food poisoning from their breakfast buffet. Location of this hotel is a bit far from the city about 25-30minutes by taxi or tuktuk and if you book tuktuk or taxi from Jungceylon(the city) to hotel it’s 400baht about Aud16 there is free shuttle that goes to the city every hour from the hotel and from Jungceylon though but if no one goes to the city they won’t come from city to hotel to pick you up. Happened to us waiting for almost an hour for shuttle to come we sent text message from whatsapp that’s the only time they came to pick us up. So we just relied on tuktuk or taxi.
Resto experienced Alfa Fire n Grill for the 2nd time we went we’re the only customer there ordered the same dish we were there the first night we arrived(review on top🔝) green curry taste like disinfectant this time, mango smoothie taste sour, tom yum is just not right. Trying to eat the food we ordered partner saw a rat walking inside the resto and notified staff. We didn’t continue eating our food after that and left. As a sorry they sent us a fruit platter in our room but of course we didn’t eat that. 5th and last day we were at this hotel partner got food poisoning from again their breakfast buffet.
When we checked out I asked the receptionist to bring the stuff I forgot from the room(the whole bananas and unopened pistachio nuts in a paper bag while waiting for our taxi for our dental appointment receptionist came and asked my partner again if they’re still gonna bring the stuff we forgot and he said just leave it. I leave tips every single day to housekeeping and food for them If the customer request to bring the stuff they forgot just bring over those were supposed to be for someone else. I forgot brand new straw bag and hat there that the Club gave us too and a brand new charging cable. But no one told us.
Partner booked this hotel months before we come originally from his points from Wyndham Club “timeshare”when he realised the room is not premium and they’re giving us basic room with dirty mouldy jacuzzi he called and asked for an upgrade call centre agent said they will try so he waited they notified him there’s no available room he looked at Booking.com there’s heaps of rooms available for this Deluxe Suite so he called again and asked, upset cancelled this booking and lost those points. He just booked through Booking.com and paid $1500+ the reason why he still booked here is because he already submitted our travel arrival card where we are staying in Thailand. When we checked out from this hotel partner sent an email to management asking about why booking.com has a lot of available Deluxe rooms and Wyndham is saying there’s none when he called Management did not respond up to this day🤷🏽♀️. This is why you lose lots of customers. Still sucky setting even you’re saying a new management takes over.
The stay was amazing staff is very polite and courteous! Specially help desk staff Minx and Zaina were very helpful and cooperative. This place is little far from Patong beach but they have shuttle services. So overall good stay!!!
I stayed here several times over the past month, and Miki was the main reason I kept coming back. She helped me a lot and made my experience smooth and comfortable. I will definitely return and recommend this place to others.
We have just finished a five-night stay at Wyndham Sea Pearl Phuket and had a very enjoyable experience.
The resort is well located, approximately 10 minutes by car from Patong, with a convenient hourly shuttle bus into Patong and return each day. Our room was lovely, well appointed, modern and comfortable, with a spa on the balcony, which was a great feature.
The lobby area is beautiful, and the owners’ club lounge is also very modern and welcoming. Some areas of the resort are a little dated, including parts of the pool decking, however Wyndham appears to be actively refreshing and upgrading the property, and improvements were underway during our stay.
The staff were excellent throughout — friendly, accommodating and always helpful. Our room was cleaned daily, fresh towels were provided, and bottled water was supplied each day.
Overall, we found the resort to be of a very good standard, in a great location, with lovely staff and comfortable facilities. We would have no hesitation staying here again in the future.
Staff very friendly, but very poorly maintained resort. Referred to as "Jurassic Park" by Australian Staff member. Toilets didn't work, room not clean, pools shut for maintenance, gardens weed ridden and overgrown.
