A little slice of heaven on earth

Little dubious when booking due to poor reviews but the photos drew me in, we bit the bullet and booked.

Not sure why the reviews were as we read but the place we went was absolutely out of this world. The hotel itself is set in stunning gardens, the room’s were bright, airy, well presented and kept beautifully clean by the room attendants...

The facilities offer a pool that looks into the white sands I’d the beach below, two private spots on the beach to relax and unwind. In the multitude of bars and restaurants placed around the site, you will be greeted by a plethora of smiling faces and warm greetings.

The food, the hotel, the country and the people are amazing………….. truly awesome xx

Wonderful holiday, beautiful beach.

Review by Elainesbarker Colchester, United Kingdom

We arrived at reception after a long flight to a much needed cold drink and a friendly welcome, the check in process was quick and efficient. Our room was number 111, it was spotlessly clean with modern decor and a beautiful garden view and we could see the sea behind some palm trees. Our room was equipped with everything we could have needed and was maintained to a high standard throughout our stay. We stayed on an all inclusive basis and were very happy with the choices and standard of food at all meals, there was always a good choice of fresh salads, meat and fish from the grill, vegetables, different rice and potato options, curries and many other dishes...

There was a good choice of desserts and fresh fruit and each evening there was something different such as a pasta station or a barbeque night. At breakfast there was an egg station and sausages and bacon were freshly cooked, there was everything you could want. The evening meal experience was especially nice due to live entertainment in the background which added to the atmosphere. On barbeque nights, tables were moved outside and this was lovely, we felt like a lot of effort was put into providing a great meal experience. During the day we mainly used the adult only, quiet beach which was beautiful. The grounds of the hotel are stunning and we enjoyed walking around looking at the wildlife. One of the highlights for us were the nightly visits from the Bush Babies at the bar! There are many areas in the grounds of the hotel for peace and quiet or for a more lively experience there is the pool side, but there is something for everyone. What made our stay so special though was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, from our cleaner, the staff on the beach, the reception and especially the bar and restaurant staff as nothing was too much trouble. A special mention to Ibrahim and Jones who made us some fabulous cocktails (from the AI list) and they were great to have a laugh with. There are too many other staff to mention but a big thank you to everyone who served us at meal times, always smiling, polite and helpful. The staff are a credit to Leopard Beach resort. We had an amazing holiday and would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel for a superb Kenyan experience

Nice place to relax after a week of safaris'

Review by DouglasR1318 Witham, United Kingdom

6/7 day stay after a week of rolling around in a land cruiser and having the time off my life! Arrived late, missed dinner, but the bar was open. Check in was quick and was taken to the room, all the blocks look the same, but there is a large number on the end of the block. Room was good, bed was comfortable, view looked over the gardens and towards the sea (214). Shower was excellent. Was on half board, breakfast had a good selection of cooked and cold food...

egg station at breakfast and show cooking at dinner time. food was good. Plenty of restaurants around the resort for snacks and drinks, and tea, coffee and cake at the poolside in the afternoon. The hotel isnt on the best section of Diani beach, the tide does go out quite a way revealing green rocks, water shoes a must. the breakers in the distance look inviting but not recommended to go swimming. when the tide is in, the breakers are on your doorstep. 2 nice picturesque beaches are available, and there are 2 pools.

Great place at the beach!

Leopard Beach Resort is a great place to stay, nice staff, spacious rooms with a beautiful garden( in my case) view( with monkies...). The food was fresh and the dishes well varied, althoug when there is a wedding( 2 or 3 days many Indian weddings) things go a little different. Every night music at dinner time...

The beach is lovelly but the water was little to cold now.. I stayed there for two weeks but had booked a 4 days game drive with Julius Tact Safaris. I know Julius for many years and have booked more then 5 trips with his company. He can be trusted and his service is great!! His guides/drivers are very good. This time I had private trip with driver/guide Joseph So again a great holiday and I hope to be back in 2023...!!😊

Our worst nightmare!

Review by salster122 Richmond, United Kingdom

After an amazing safari we went to chill on white sandy beaches... not! Green and smelly! Room had a coat of paint! Rusty/mouldy bathroom! Off white robe with stains in a wardrobe with no doors! Reception rude, food overwhelmed with flies. Most staff were nice...

We got upgraded to what they said was the vip suite?! Windows rattled noisely in the wind every night. A/C didn't work properly. Jacuzzi bath leaked and didn't work. Do umbrellas supplied when it was raining so missed breakfast. I could go on and on. If it wasn't going to cost £1500 for flights home we'd of left ASAP.
