This Resort is located in Albufeira, which still retains much of its ancient charm with its quaint narrow streets and traditional architecture. Faro Airport is around 35 kilometres from the hotel. Characterised by its fantastic atmosphere, this club resort has been carefully conceived to bring guests a range of amenities and comforts designed to make a truly memorable experience. Built and renovated recently, the complex has a restaurant where people can enjoy the delight dishes served, a luxury spa to keep the wellness culture of the guests health interest and several stylish rooms with excellent provision for whole family. All apartments enjoy the access to balconies or terraces with spectacular views. Among other in-room amenities, rooms are well-appointed to ensure comfort for all holidays.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We love Eden as a family holiday. Location, food, staff, cleanliness, it ticks all of the boxes. My kids are getting older now so I don’t know if this will suit for much longer as it’s suited to younger children
We enthusiastically booked a "renovated" apartment. It quickly became clear that "renovated" is a very flexible term. Apparently it means the tap is barely attached, the floor comes with decorative holes, cupboard doors have a mind of their own, and the drains proudly display an impressive rust collection.
Housekeeping had its own definition of "clean." The rooms were dirty and the garden looked like an international smoking festival had just ended.
The pool was an adventure too—if you could even find a sunbed. And if you managed to get one, you'd likely end up squeezed between a tree, a bin, a lamp post and practically on your neighbour's lap. Privacy and comfort clearly weren't included.
The pools had plenty of character. Loose and broken tiles created an obstacle course, while the children's play area crumbled so enthusiastically they could take home free souvenirs. The indoor pool featured dirt on the bottom, stained walls and missing tiles. It felt more like an archaeological site than a wellness area.
We also paid extra for the beach package on top of all-inclusive. We tried it once—and that was more than enough. Most of the promised food was unavailable, and what little remained was bland and disappointing. Paying extra only to leave hungry felt like money well wasted.
The beach shuttle was equally impressive. Several buses stood waiting, apparently as decoration. Once the first one filled up, everyone else simply waited. Efficiency had clearly gone on holiday.
The food catered almost exclusively to British guests and children: greasy, repetitive and tasting mostly of cardboard with a hint of deep fryer.
When we complained, apologies flowed freely. Solutions, however, were not part of the all-inclusive package. "Sorry" turned out to be the hotel's signature service.
If you're looking for a hotel that actually meets expectations, I'd recommend choosing literally anywhere else.
You want for nothing in this place..... I was a bit worried heading in with a 16 year old and not younger children like the vast majority of the residents. Needn't have worried at all. Let's break it down.... We had a two bedroom, 2 bathroom villa that's bigger than a lot of houses I've been in. Clean beyond expectations and so spacious. I imagine it's perfect for young families too. Restaurant.... Loads of choice to cater for every taste and appetite. The staff are friendly and helpful and again, it's clean. Pools.... We spent our time around the quiet pool which was relaxing, clean and just that perfect balance of noise versus chaos. The snack bar has an abundance of choice and oh my god the chicken kebabs are banging!!!! Husband left his rather expensive sunglasses by the pool, a staff member handed them in. Tells you a lot about a place when that happens. I suppose the only way to sum up this holiday is that we're looking to book again for next year. It really was the relaxing few days our family needed. Special call out to Sofia in guest relations, nothing was too much trouble and she was one of the reasons we're heading back. Thank you Eden for a little slice of paradise xx
Great family holiday with plenty of choice in the restaurant for those who have fussy eaters. Location is a bit far from old town but taxis are very quick and cheap so wasn't a problem.
I really enjoyed my stay and my favourite worker has to be Edmar he is fun and very good at football
