Characterised by its fantastic atmosphere, this club resort has been carefully conceived to bring guests a range of amenities and comforts designed to make a truly memorable experience. Built and renovated recently, the complex has a restaurant where people can enjoy the delight dishes served, a luxury spa to keep the wellness culture of the guests health interest and several stylish rooms with excellent provision for whole family. Excellent Family Resort

Review by Andrew R Troon

I would highly recommend Eden Resort for a family holiday..

The all inclusive package took the stess away from meal times and the staff were fantastic with the parents and more importantly the children each day.

Good hotel but needs improvement

Review by NKB_IM Ascot, United Kingdom

We’ve just got back from a family holiday for a week, 2 adults and a toddler. We did have a good week but couldn’t help but see improvements that it needed, let me start with a few positives though:

Staff are very friendly, from reception, to the restaurant staff to the kids club (our toddler was obsessed with the turtle!) The kids pool and splash park were great, especially the splash park, lovely to have two places to go to! Love that the rooms are apartments just for that extra space with a lounge. The resort feels spacious, you’re not crammed together with the rooms.

For the negatives/improvements:

The rooms: very small bathroom, and lack of storage...

The only place to put our toiletries were under the sink on an open shelf, not ideal with a nosy toddler into everything, it needed to be out of reach. Shelves could easily be added to the walls/on the mirror. The toilet was constantly running water and over filling. Half of the wardrobe was locked so we only had half a wardrobe for hanging items, and just 6 hangers for the 3 of us (I called for more but no one turned up) and such tiny handles on the wardrobe (about 1cm wide) that it was hard to open. Also lots of ants in the kitchen and bathroom, which isn’t nice crawling all over your things. Shower gel/soap was included, but they should have also included washing up liquid/sponge/tea towel to dry, as it was an apartment, it’s a basic thing that should be there.

Food: we were all inclusive, generally the food was good, breakfast was the best. Lunch needed some more cold options, but what was most disappointing was the desserts. Just the same sort of sponge cake/tart/mousse everyday, which weren’t very nice. Only saw a Portuguese tart once too! Each meal lacked in fresh fruit, could get melon and tinned peach/fruit cocktail as standard, and then something else like kiwi. Bananas were like gold dust- hard to get one before they were all gone! Surely these are a cheaper fruit to have available at all times. At the snack bar by the pool, it advertises lots of lovely food and a big selection of ice creams, unfortunately hardly anything was included in the all inclusive, all we could get really was chips and 2 flavours of ice cream pots. It’s a bit awkward asking what’s included, all inclusive you should be able to get everything.

Location: obviously this can’t be changed, but if you’re looking for a nice local town to go for a family dinner then this isn’t the place (at least it wasn’t for us) We visited the old town and it just has a party/stag do vibe, not enjoyable and it ruined the town.

Evening entertainment: we were looking forward to some cheesy inside evening entertainment that hotels usually have as we knew our toddler would love it. The hotel doesn’t have this as such, they did sometimes have something by the pool run by the kids club in the evening, but it was on pretty late, and freezing because of the wind and our young child would have kept trying to go in the water (seems an odd choice to move the entertainment by a pool for kids?!), and a couple of nights had live acoustic music by the hotel bar which sounded good but not something we could entertain our toddler with, so felt like we just had to go back to the room each night. The hotel lacks good evening entertainment.

Spa- one reason for booking this hotel was the spa so we could look forward to a massage once we were there (birthday present and Father’s Day present) only for the spa to shut after we arrived for the rest of our stay!! Only got an email once we got there. Very disappointing!

Overall we did have a good week and our toddler enjoyed herself, but I don’t think we’ll be back.

Resort review

Just spent a lovely week in 3 bedroom Villa in Eden Resort. Had a wonderful week, very clean spacious villa adaquite to accommodate 3 couples or would have been great for a family too. Villas had 3 pools 1 adult only (which was brilliant) although no food or drinks at it...

A family one and a baby /toddle one too. So everyone catered for. Lots of entertainment for kids. Two restaurants and the pool side bar/snack bar. A carry out service and fresh crouton and baguette service to your door in morning all freshly made. Small shop on site too. Shuttle bus to Old Town each day.

Only a few small negitives only one hairdryer in main bedroom. And with with 3 couples a hairdryer per room would have been good. Bedrooms large spacious airy etc with air-conditioning. Great storage too. But a dressing table or a table to set things on bags cameras phones chargers etc on and at least one chair! A chair in master bedroom only. But overall fantastic villas and have recommended them to friends and family already.

Great resort for families but food needs improving

This is a great resort for young families.

We came here with a 16 month and 3.5 year old and had a fab time. We didn't think we would use the kids club at all however our eldest wanted to join the movie nights, pj parties and family show and had a fantastic time.

I can't speak highly enough about the entertainment team. They work exceptionally hard and do an absolutely fantastic job from breakfast until nightfall.

If I had a criticism it would be that I personally found the food to be far too oily...

Too much food was either deep or shallow fried. In the morning you see the fried ends being cooked by being submerged in oil whislt on the evenkng pasta dishes have masses and masses of oil. There isn't a need for this, it's really unhealthy and not nessisary.

Still overall we had a really good stay
