Hotel J Negombo
Rooms were clean and had the very basic requirements. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ordered food from the roof top - the food and drinks were reasonably priced. Walking distance to the Negombo beach.
Hotel J negombo Sri Lanka
The hotel is budget friendly, bright cheerful and above all the location is fantastic. Highly recommended for a few days stay without breaking the bank! Theekshana (the reception staff) was super helpful, friendly and very welcoming. Do stay here if you are looking for a wonderful location at a very very reasonable price
Hotel with basic amenities
The hotel offers very basic amenities , no water provided in the room , no fridge. the room was clean . The noise at the rooftop bar was annoying . The pool was very small . We just stayed for a couple of hours only . It's a budget hotel for short stay only .
a great introduction to this beautiful country
yes a budget hotel but exceptional value for money - staff fantastic, location perfect! my daughter and I stayed for a couple of nights and felt safe and welcome everywhere. Pool was very welcome - dinner on the beach was glorious :-)
Wonderful services elevates this basic hotel.
Stayed as a pre-stay on an organised tour of Sri Lanka and compared with other hotels in the trip this one was probably rated the highest. The rooms are basic but the wifi was great and I had hot water in the bathroom with a roomy powerful shower. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and always tried to do their best even if they didn't get it right all the time. Rooftop bar is a bit noisy if you go to bed early. 30 minute walk to Dutch fort and fish market and it is surrounded by restaurants and the beach is right outside your door.
