The Best Staycation

Review by Vania S Bali, Indonesia

Home away from home. Love the staycation experience. The location is great, the service is amazing, the food is excellent! Definitely should book the ocean view suite while staying in Anantara Seminyak, that Seminyak's golden sunset is right on your doorstep...

What a refreshing 2-night stay...

Great value for money, build quality not so much

Review by HoseaGoen Jakarta, Indonesia

Was staying here on Unlimited Getaway package and it is the perfect value for money. However, if i want to be honest, the resort actually has some downside. The lobby is subpar of 5star standard; I was staying in Andaz, DesaPotato, Aman Kila and Ritz Bali, and can clearly say the lobby in Anantara feels like 4 star hotel...

Secondly, the renovation done has poor build quality, we can clearly see the lighting fixture is bad (ceiling indirect light is dying and has different color), bathroom terrazo clearly has big water stain, but wasnt properly fixed, stair lamp is dying 60 70%, and swimming pool tiles are broken piece by piece. some of the wooden floor also aging badly, but i think still OK. AC is superb though. I might be sound nitpicking, but hey I am in the building construction industry, so i do pay attention to this kind of stuff. The original Architect might be a great house architect, but for 5 star resort, I think his overall layout could be improved; room layout is perfect though in my opinion.

Maintenance and Upkeep to be improved

Review by mayormuffin Yogyakarta Region, Indonesia

There are at least two reasons to stay at this property. First, the room is huge and spacious. It is like three deluxe rooms all combined together...

The second reason would be the direct access and view to the beach. If you are lucky, enjoy the sunset from your balcony. Probably because it is pandemic, the property seems got a poor maintenance. The railing looks outdated and dirty. Some pool umbrellas were left broken as well as the rattan lampion at the beach were unrepaired. If you are instagram minded, you need to be tactical to find a good spot. I had to ask for room-move during arrival, the cleanliness was not up to my expectation. Vehicle parking was a challenge, eventhough there is available valet services. I saw only one guest elevator for staff and guests, creating queue during breakfast time and check out time. Guest staircase is available next to the elevator. Overall stay was okay, but the room rate is pricey compared to the facilities.
