The resort is located next to a beatiful part of the beach and offers two pools on top. Good breakfast. Friendly staff...
Yet the villa I had would need some renovation and modernisation. Small tv and weak wifi. The private pool is just 1 meter deep and had some loose tiles. Not enough to justify the 5 stars that are claimed by the resort.
We enjoyed a fabulous stay in a one-bedroom apartment overlooking the swimming pool so much that we extended our time. One of my all-time best memories of our stay was the morning walk through the resort to breakfast. The gardens and grounds deserve special praise, they are so lush and green...
It was a beautiful start to the day.
The menu has been reduced but although smaller than usual the food was lovely with a good breakfast. The spa was closed but the gym was open. Our apartment was well set up for all our needs especially once an extra workspace had been added in as we were working from the beach. Dewa has amazing Thai hospitality, nothing was too much trouble.
We loved the location close to the beach and the village which has some great options for dining out we especially liked Sea Almond restaurant for a stunning beachfront dining experience. There is enough open for all your needs with a Family Mart, pharmacy and local massage Whiskey their cute Fur Ambassador cat strolls around reception looking as purrfectly happy as all the other guests do!
A beautiful, tranquil, friendly resort on the beach but in the National Park, wonderful.
The restaurant is great for both breakfast and dinner and you can look at the ocean through the trees whilst you dine! There are also some excellent restaurants on the beach, especially Phens.
Staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful, can't do enough. Great spa onsite with reasonable prices, good massages, facials and nails and good products...
There is a shuttle bus once a day to take you to Central Festival and Patong. Only 15 minutes from the airport which is great as the traffic in Phuket can be horrendous. We have had many romantic stays and stays with friends at the Dewa. It is a magical destination.
Many people know that Thailand is famous for its traditions, architecture, nature and food. But it's worth getting to know the country better and getting to know the talents that live in it. In January 2019, having visited the exhibition at the Hotel Dewa Phuket, I was lucky enough to get acquainted with the work of the incredible artist Olga Belka, who creates her paintings under water. Becoming a part of the process of creating such a masterpiece is an unforgettable experience...
I managed to combine business with pleasure. I recommend getting to know Olga's work and and multiply your pleasure of visiting this country.
On my Birthday, we decided to venture to a hotel. I heard a lot of great reviews from Dewa. Therefore, my father booked a Pool Villa and we stayed there for three nights. As we entered the hotel, the staff was very helpful and guided us to the reception...
After a very swift check-in, we were heading to our accommodation. The path was large enough for two people to walk aside one another. The staff that was kindly helping us with our bags opened the door into our Villa. The door looked as if it was from the medieval times, since it boasts a large wooden frame with oversized rusty metal handles. I could smell the fresh aroma of the plants running alongside the walls, but after we excitedly went inside the Villa, it smelt mouldy. The chair and bed frames had terrible scratches and the television looked thirty years old. However, we did not let this bother us so we changed into our swimming apparels and walked to Naiyang beach. My dad and I stayed for a few hours before walking back. There are many different dishes and cuisines on the menu (that were overpriced), but we went to one of the many restaurants near the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. We got back to our rooms and turned on the television, but there were only Thai channels. We went on our phones and tablets, but the internet was dreadful. We sat on a sofa and chair, but they were squeaky. It was nearing bedtime and I slept on the bed they provided us. It was uncomfortable and hard. Unfortunately, the pillow was the same. I could hear the occasional whirring of planes, but that didn’t bother me as much as the cheap bed. I would recommend the hotel for everyone. There are some aspects that I dislike; expensive food, old furniture and bad WiFi (for those who like going online). This should not stop you from going to the hotel because it is a great place to get away from all your distractions.
