This historic hotel is situated just across the promenade in Torremolinos, in the quiet area between La Carihuela and Solymar districts a 10 to 15 minute walk from the centre of the popular resort. Links to the public transport are available within 100 metres and the Malaga airport is just 20 minutes' drive away. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, all of the dining options of the venue come with an added bonus of wonderful views. Regardless if one is enjoying a meal at the buffet restaurant, signature cocktail in the bar or snack in the garden, the sea will always be within his/hers gaze. The same holds true for the rooms, each of the well-appointed units comes with a balcony offering side or full sea views.

We (mom and children 16 & 8yrs) recently spent a few days at Pez Espada and had a fantastic time. The facilities are great with lots of cozy areas to relax or enjoy a drink/snack. They have easy access to a lovely beach and a great kids splash pool and play area...
We had breakfast at the hotel which had a good variety of foods and drinks with fresh fruits and eggs / omelettes made fresh for you. The highlight for us was really the kids club Juan really brought my son out of his shell and even played Lego with him! He really made the stay excellent for us, my son didn’t want to leave because of Juan! Thanks to Raquel also for the evening entertainment. We had a fantastic stay, would 100% recommend for small families with children of different ages.
After a four year absence a wonderful return was had by all. Rooms and communal areas have been refurbed to an extremely high standard. Our only gripe was the food was uninspiring and lacked variation, we do hope that the management address this, as this is the only let down of a great place.
I visited Pez Espada on 4th April and had a fantastic stay. Juan and Raquel (the entertainers) are a great addition to the hotel. We enjoyed taking part in their daily games/entertainment that they provided...
I will be back again in October and I hope to see them both there.
just returned from a weeks stay, with my wife whom has been to the area before but not this hotel, stayed in room 1314 which was very clean and spacious, as for the mini fridge this was a let down ,
plenty sunbathing areas when the sun was out , hotel situated on beach front which is again really nice, BIG let down was the food, for a 4 star hotel, at know time did we have a hot meal as most of the food was cold , the only hot meal was to soup ,
they do have a microwave next to the display of which i had to use a couple of times, the rest of our stay we dined out, restaurant staff not very pleasant and always sad looking,
so very disappointed overall , i wouldn't recommend this hotel ,
Our first visit since refurbishment. All staff very efficient & helpful. Room décor fresh and light, Beds comfortable, Restaurant well set out with some dishes freshly cooked in the restaurant...
Good variety, good quality food and always something to suit all tastes in very pleasant surroundings. Stunning sea views from bedrooms and restaurant. Good location directly on the sea promenade and beach. No road to cross to the beach. Delightful walks to Benalmadena marina one way and Torremolinos the other. We have stayed several times and hope to do so again.
