Pool

Arcanus Sorgun really lived up to expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay! I have personally never wanted to return to a hotel before but this one I will, and would love to return in the future!

Positives:

- Large beautiful pool, very open and lots of sunbeds
- Attentive and very friendly staff
- Clean rooms and hotel, staff work very hard to make sure this place is spotless, always on top of things and if something needed fixing someone was always there to assist (we had a problem with our safe and was fixed in 10 mins)
- Good selection of food and drinks (cocktail list was large) also use of premium alcohol, absolute vodka, havana rum, bacardi etc. 
- LOVED the waiter service throughout, including around the pool and lunchtime around the Aqua restaurant and Beach front restaurant. Usually most all inclusive hotels have just buffet option to select for yourself. It's a lovely touch to sit down at lunch and be served with fresh cooked food to order.
- Guest relations are very helpful and booking the al a carte restaurants was easy!
- Entertainment every night in the evenings, we didn't get involved in daytime stuff.
- Slides for the kids and splash park, very clean and well managed. 
- Guys on the roller blades is an added touch, nice to laze on the sunbed around the pool and drinks come to you (thanks Mert)!
- We loved the beach and pier, very luxurious! 
- Rooms were lovely and cleaned daily, as well as the mini fridge restocked everyday!
- Al a Carte was AMAZING! We tried both the Mexican and Asian and left full and satisfied. The service was wonderful also and the waiters ensured our glasses were always topped up and also given lots of tequila shots in the Mexican. Highly recommend! 

Negatives :

- Kids club looks amazing when you go in, however found that the staff are not very welcoming and did not make much of an effort with the kids (unless they had to). I was disappointed at the lack of activities for kids in the Club. My daughter attended 3 times and all she did was colour and draw, not much else. Such a big beautiful space with not much going on inside. 
- Mini Disco in the evening is very repetitive, same songs in the same order every single night.
-The food for kids was a big disappointment in the 'kids restaurant area' and many others said the same. They would serve boiled chicken?? in lukewarm water, green beans mixed in with sweetcorn, plain rice or dry plain spaghetti and chips. We all know kids are fussy eaters and I felt bad for some parents who struggled. 

Suggestions:

- As you serve 'KFC' fried chicken in the Aqua pool bar, fresh pizzas and burgers, it would be good to see these in the kids restaurant or even the main buffet restaurant.  Kids love burgers, nuggets, pizzas, pasta, mashed potato or even breaded fish or fish fingers. 
- Please speak with the kids club team to change up the songs on Mini Disco, nobody wants to hear the same songs every night. There needs to be more variety in songs and dances. 
- Please get children more involved; there was a lack of activities for kids especially in the kids club. The kids team need to walk around the pool or main areas and introduce themselves and encourage children to come along or even to let families know what is happening throughout the week. Or maybe even a Kids club notice board?

Thanks again Arcanus Team, we hope this review helps out in some way! Overall we would book and stay again in a heartbeat!

Amazing Hotel and Staff - just some finer details to make it perfect!!

This was the first time we have stayed at Arcanus and it definitely won't be the last! 
My mum and I went out for 11 days at the beginning of September and everything was perfect . I have never stayed anywhere before that had such happy staff . Everyone we dealt with couldn't  do enough for you . 

Food

You could eat all day if you wanted to . The Aqua Bar and Beach bar are both lovely at lunchtimes if you don't want to eat in the main restaurant . They both offer table service and the service is excellent . Ahmet Dogen and Mehmet Toker were our favourites in the Aqua Bar and they served the most delicious cocktails . You can get ice cream , ice lollies , fresh waffles and fruit , every kind of cake you can think of all day long . The main restaurant offers all kinds of food , you could always find something to eat. The fruit and salad selection was amazing. We visited the Mexican and Italian  a la  Cartes and they were fantastic . The managers in both restaurants were very helpful and friendly.
Corn on the cob  and water melon was brought around the pool in the afternoons , which was a nice touch. 

Rooms

We had a garden view room which overlooked the Mexican a la carte and Aqua Bar.  It was lovely.  Plenty of space to put our clothes , really comfy beds . Lots of toiletries supplied. Mini bar with water, soft drinks and beer. Refilled every day.
Our maids were brilliant and really friendly , our room was spotless with fresh towels every day. 

Drinks

Imported alcohol included. The quality and the range  of the drinks was amazing . The best I've ever had in Turkey. 
Ferhat Arslan in lobby bar 2 was the best . He made the best cocktails and decorated them beautifully.  Nothing was too much trouble for him . Also the barman in the Aqua Bar was amazing too . 
Lobby bar 1 was also really nice if you wanted to cool down in the air conditioning. 
The cocktails that are served around the pool in the afternoons are a lovely idea and very tasty too. 

Pool

The pool was wonderful and you can always get a sunbed . The beach is lovely too with plenty of sunbeds . 
There are some activities during the day but not too many . 

Entertainment 

The shows we saw were very good and the two theme nights were great . We had a retro party and then a white party . Both were a lot of fun. 
The only thing I would day is that I feel like there could be more Entertainment in the evenings,  maybe in one of the bars so there's some choice. 

Guest relations were fabulous . Nothing was too much trouble.  Taner spent a lot of time talking to guests and really listened to any suggestions we made . 

Beauty Salon

Both of us visited the hair salon . It was great. The staff were lovely and the prices were very reasonable.  I had a keratin treatment to straighten my frizzy hair and I'm thrilled with it . I would definitely recommend and will be returning next year .
 
Spa

This is the only part of the holiday that I didn't like. The man that sold us the package is lovely and really friendly . When we had the Turkish bath , it wasn't very relaxing as people kept walking in and out . That has never happened when I've had it done at other hotels  . The actual massage was good but at the end a man comes in ( when you should be relaxing) and tells you all your back problems and tries to sell you more treatments. He told my mum that she had fluid trapped in her leg and it was dangerous. She spent the rest of the holiday worrying about it . I booked it as a treat for her,  but Instead it just stressed her out. When we didn't book further treatments he seemed to get the hump and never acknowledged us again . I would not book again.  

The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the grounds were beautiful. The staff work constantly to keep it that way. 

We loved every minute of our stay.  Thank you Arcanus. We will definitely be back

Beautiful  Arcanus ❤️ We can't wait to return!

Just back last night from this beautiful hotel. What a great time we had!, from start to finished we enjoyed every second of it . We were 2 families with 2 teenage girls , we booked 3 rooms . What can we say , from rooms, food , drinks, staff who looked after us so well just well done !!! We med  duty manager Halil Gokkay , who was so nice to us ,  he was there every evening making sure that we guests are looked after the best way possible , so big thank you to you HALIL and your hard working staff.Some people were complaining about food being cold, it’s not true we ate food every day breakfast , lunch , diner never got cold food witch was very delicious . Hotel it’s very secure., having teenage girls as a parents you always worried , but this hotel has so good security walking around the grounds 24h making sure everything is ok , we were very happy to feel safe . We   can’t wait to come beck , not first time in Turkey but this was our best holiday ☀️❤️

Best time !!!

We have just had the most wonderful fortnights holiday at this fantastic hotel. From the moment we arrived everything went so well.
The Reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. They had arranged for us to have adjoining rooms as a family (we are the grandparents) travelling with a four year old, one year old twins, our son and daughter-in-law. This was so helpful.
The rooms were large, very clean and had a great bathroom with walk in shower. Stocks were replenished as used and towels changed if left on the floor. These are large, fluffy towels. 
The main restaurant had a huge choice of food at every meal, from breakfast with eggs cooked many ways, several cereal choices plus salads, meats, sausage, pancakes, cakes, fresh fruit, yogurts etc etc. At lunch the choices were amazing and dinners were just as good with theme nights - Turkish, Italian, fish plus others. Within the huge restaurant there is also a separate kids restaurant and two areas for eating outside.
For food there were also other cafes to eat at and a patisserie with delicious cakes and a bar. If you fancy a special coffee there is a cafe serving delicious coffees just up from the main pool. 
There are several specialist restaurants, you can choose to dine in one per week of your stay. We did  Mexican (outstanding) and Italian (very good).
The pool is massive with a kids area (there is also an indoor pool). Out of the front of the hotel is another pool with several large slides and a kids waterpark play area. There were lots of sunbeds in both areas. If you are a beach dweller there were lots of beds there too. The pier has a bar and, again, lots of sunbeds with access to the sea from ladders.
Our granddaughter spent lots of time each day in the Kids Club and she also loved the Mini disco each night. 
The shows each night were good fun, although we didn’t see them all.
The animation team were so friendly, they invited people to join in activities but were never pushy. We didn’t really join in with any of the adult stuff - archery, volleyball, bocchia (spelling?), yoga, water gym to name but a few. We were always warmly greeted and a fuss made of the children.
The grounds are impeccable and are well looked after.
All the staff were friendly, helpful and always attentive. We tipped at the end of our holiday in the tip boxes around the hotel, we did not receive inferior service from anyone by not tipping as we went along. 
I would highly recommend this hotel to families or couples of any age, there is something for everyone!! Thank you for a great holiday (helped by lots of sunshine in late April/early May).

Fantastic Hotel with great staff

Brilliant hotel very helpful friendly staff. So many snacks bars to choose from the beach bar (kebabs) aqua bar (pizza burgers KFC chicken waffles) pastries ice cream ect... Smoothies and milkshakes at the passion bar... Cocktails .great pool scene amazing beach location with jetty,watersports it does it all best part is the al a cart ( we went to the Italian had a 5 course first class meal (our waiter oskar was absolutely brilliant such good service and friendly conversation with him always checking if food is good keeps you topped up with drinks always smiling ) overall experience was very good THANK YOU ARCANUS WE SOLUTE YOU

Brilliant hotel

This hotel is located on a private sandy beach with a dock over the turquoise water of Mediterranean Sea. Side is 3 km away, with its amphitheatre and ancient city, and it is 5 km to Manavgat. Restaurants, shops, bars and nightclubs can be found in the touristic centre, around 4 km away, and the city centre is approximately 6 km from the hotel. There is a train station 25 m from the hotel.
