Side Star Elegance was opened in 1987. It was the first five star hotel in the area of Side. Since the opening of the hotel in 1987, it has occupied a good position in the tourism industry. We come to this hotel every year and we love it. The food is good and lots of choice. We upgraded to a suite and it’s really roomy. The animation team are really great too and especially Victoria who does great exercises around the pool. Everyone is really happy and enthusiastic. We highly recommend this hotel. It’s lively but there are quiet areas too. The cats are brilliant who patrol around and are so friendly.
Too far from everything so a taxi is needed, there are few shops just out of the hotel but the restaurants aren’t the best. The atmosphere was brilliant around the pool but that’s it I’m afraid, waiters aren’t as helpful if you’re not tipping them constantly but there were a few really helpful ones On several nights we waited 40/50 minutes to be served in the bar, went to get our own and told its waiter service only, but non English were allowed to come to the bar themselves and not a problem. The dining room is chaotic and just doesn’t flow with how the food is set out The rooms are spotless and clean towels everyday and the rooms are nice and functional .the mini bar should have been stocked daily but it wasn’t and speaking to the rep, reception and calls and speaking to the hotel manager it got sorted It’s not worth anything near to what they are charging, nicer hotels out there so be aware when reading reviews The atmosphere is lack lustre The noise levels are fine and no issues

Just returned from 14 nights here and what an amazing place . Massive shout out to the animation team At the pool In the daytime . 100% enthusiasm. Definately recommend.
We had a wonderful and relaxing massage! Tari and Karmini, the Indonesian therapists, were very skilled, professional, and friendly. The food was also delicious, and the service was excellent.
